Rugna (2022)
A cinematic masterpiece
Loved this film a lot. As I found myself 30,000 feet above the ground, searching for some in-flight entertainment, I stumbled upon "Rugna." Little did I know, this film would take me on an emotional rollercoaster like no other. Anil's character, portrayed brilliantly by Uday Achar, resonated with the struggles we all face in life. The turbulence outside matched the storm within Anil's heart, making the viewing experience eerily fitting. Director Sunil Bharadwaj weaves a tale of vulnerability, loss, and the quest for change, making "Rugna" a masterpiece that deserves to soar high. His work is highly underrated.

It's a film worth watching.
It's a film which impressed me with complexity. It's different. The film was amazingly crafted, and the story line was amazing. And I give props to all the people who played a role in making this movie. The one who played Lucius has done a very good job. Clever performance from the man. The story, the acting, the setting, everything was spectacular. I believe nobody watches movies for informational purposes rather only for entertainment purposes. Cuz movies are fiction, fiction isn't meant to be true, so keeping that in mind, I'll recommend everyone to watch this, it was amazing. The suspense was great. I got chills when i saw the beast getting unleashed.

Loved it to the core
Never expected the film to be so good. The film is actually based on life on transgenders and the director has done a very good job to make people glued to their seats until the final frame of the film. The performances were top notch. The actor who played Meghnas character is an asset to Indian film industry I would say. It was a treat watching him. I watched it at Cinepolis and there was a standing ovation right after the premiere. Music is another part which keeps the film's pace going. The film has repeat watch values. If the film is getting released on any OTT platforms, I'm definitely gonna watch it.
Phalguna Chaitra (2023)
A movie not to be missed!!!
I watched it simply because it was the next show upcoming when I went to a mall and wanted to kill some time. So I had no expectations, but Boy I was blown away ! The score, music, script, acting, realistic and down to earth story ! Phalguna Chaitra is one of the Odia movie that made me feel complete recently, and I have no words other than superb! To describe hero and heroine's acting, It was simply mind blowing. A movie with substance. Many of us will find ourselves in each one of the main characters. Enjoyed cinematography thoroughly. Each frame of the movie had shades orange and blue; formed something sort of a theme.
Junglemahal: The Awakening (2023)
Gripping tale of Horror
Constantly something creepy happening on the screen and you don't have any time to catch your breath. Out of all the horror movies I've seen this is one of the few that actually had a scene that caught me off guard. I think it is a pretty scary horror movie which you can enjoy safely with your family as there are no explicit scene. Furthermore, you can experience something unusual watching horror movie set in Kolkata. I really recommended this film for those that love horror film. If I have to give a score for this film as a horror I would rate it 10 out of 10. Give this trailer a try first...
10 Rupees (2023)
Very fresh content in Tollywood
For all those who predict Tollywood's doom day is nearing, just watch out for a new bunch of filmmakers, brimming with ideas. They are trying to find an audience, experimenting with stories that were long considered abstract and out of the box. '10 Rupees' is one such film that envision a story that almost strikes the right balance between real and make-believe.
One cannot classify '10 Rupees' in any particular genre. Director Afzal Shaik in an attempt for a dark thriller packs the narratives with lighter moments, tense moments, dramatic moments, and even mad moments. At the box-office, the movie have meat to make bountiful business in the bigger cities, if marketed well. Recommended for all those, who really want a difference.
Kuttram Purinthal (2023)
Unexpectedly Awesome
I didn't have much expectation while watching the film but really blew my mind. Didn't expect it to come so good. The director has done a wonderful job. He's definitely a future of Tamil cinema to look out for. The performances were also good. The screenplay and making are the highlight as both holds us tightly.. A film that I personally believe that should be watched at least once. He's ready to sacrifice some logic and reality for these emotions. He makes it a point to present these issues on the nose and as dramatic as possible. The top-notch acting, specifically by the two leads and the plot itself makes it a compelling watch.
Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage (2022)
Ellara Kathe Mele Kelage!!!
One of the best multi narrational films in recent time. Haven't seen such type of genre after Ulidavaru Kandanthe in Kannada. Direction is good, the stories are human and complex and despite their melodramatic or sometimes tragic outcome, they still leave you with a shade of hope - maybe because the humanity that the author uses to create his characters. It's very thought-provoking too and has real immediacy, as well as hard-hitting emotional power, vast emotional range and is uniquely twisted. What I saw is thousand's of people life. That's why it's so magic for me. I would recommend watching it.
