cast is amazing
21 April 2023
No real complaints, just gave it a 9 because it is really short. SO in love with this cast, they all seem great, did very well in these roles and had great chemistry. All were perfect choices. This show is 100% worth a watch if you have been thinking about it. Loved it right from the beginning. It has its funny moments, but also some serious topics, I really like the concept in general too. Peyton List is amazing, I need to see her in more!! Will definitely be watching again in a few months! Overall a really really good show to binge! Really hoping for a season two!! Hopefully a few episodes longer??

Super solid and powerful flim
7 January 2023
While it was little bland at parts, this story was insanely inspiring and empowering to me. This nyt article definitely deserved to be adapted into a movie, and they picked great actors and actresses to portray it. Each storyline was interesting and emotional in its own way, and i really loved seeing how the plot progressed. The story was super interesting overall, not necessarily due to how the directors portrayed it, but due to the content it covered. This investigation and movement will now be remembered beyond readers of that article. So many more people will be impacted in addition to those wo already have.

Fall (I) (2022)

if you want the feeling of being high up without climbing a tv tower....
27 September 2022
Before i get to the plot i just wanted to say that the beginning was super unrealistic...as a climber almost none of that made sense or would ever have happened. They would have had a longer rope, since the wall is vertical and not overhanging he would have reached the wall as soon as he fell and not dangled over the air like that, but its good for dramatic effect i suppose. Also the cam (thing he is clipped into) would have fallen out after the initial pull of him falling, not slipped out slowly, that just doesnt really happen. She also couldnt have unclipped from the rope like she did, when doing climbs like that you are tied in super securely with a knot that takes a while to undo.

Ignoring all that (which doesnt really matter) it was definitely a good thrill with a storyline i really enjoyed. You can really feel the actresses emotions and fear, they are both great in my opinion.

The ending is terrifying and heartbreaking, they did such a good job, definitely recommend.

So much potential...what happened??
12 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Im halfway through S2 (the reason im reviewing now is because thats probably where im stopping) and honestly could not tell you a single thing about the storyline, much less anything that took place in season 1. In other words, i could not be less invested in this show. I started watching it after seeing some zero/jude edits on youtube and for having so much promise, it just fell so short. I will say I like the diverse cast, all the actresses are gorgeous, the dancing is great and some of the storylines could have been really interesting but the show just failed to grab my attention and make me care about the characters. For example, when Olivia got fired in s1 i honestly didnt care because i didnt care about her as a character, and (dont hate me), but when she died it was still kind of meh. They didnt develop her character enough for her death or the aftermath to leave much of an impact on me. TBH i didnt even remember Dereks name for most of the first season. Most shows I remember specific bits of, iconic lines or scenes that i really liked, but for this show when i try to think back, theres nothing. Not a single scene that i can quote exactly which is rare for me, even after only one watch. Kyle had a few scenes that were close, but none of them stuck out because of the writing, they were all because of the actress. If you want a drama show you dont have to think much about and dont have to get invested in, and you like dancing/basketball, then sure, give this show a shot, but otherwise its not worth your time.

Edit: I continued watching to see what happened with zero and jude, and yes, its a cute gay storyline but it feels like it came out of nowhere and was underdeveloped, like everything in this show.

Edit 2: Season 3 was definitely way better then S1/2, still not great, but I enjoyed watching a lot of the episodes and it didnt feel like i was watching 12 episodes of filler. S4 drops back down, the plots were weak again and kind of confusing. There were way to many new characters and the old ones seemed to sort of disappear without any explanation.
