American Vandal (2017–2018)

AMV REVIEW (IN PROGRESS)
12 July 2022
S01 - (9.5) This fictional documentary is able to bring a compelling mystery in an absurd situation and make a satire from documentary type stuff, while having the ability to give us some emotional moments that you would not expect in this type of series.

S02 - (9.4) This season does start slow for a bit in the beginning, but once it gets going, it is even better than the first season, just a little bit more inconsistent, although it still has all the thrills, the emotional moments and a vert deep final message for young people at the end that will make you think days after watching the finale.

S04 - (9,7) The Duffer Brothers manage to bring new life into this series by turning it back into a dark mystery that ups the stakes like never before and creates a cohesive story through different storylines, while setting up what should be a thrilling final season.

FWD REVIEW (IN PROGRESS)

S07 - (5,4) After last season's bomb, there was so much potential for what could come up next, but the writers decided to just write character-centric episodes that do little to advance the plot and get you annoyed most of the time.

Cobra Kai (2018–2025)

CBK REVIEW

S01 - (9.8) Karate Kid is back in full force, bringing back iconic characters and giving them complex personalities (never black or white), while also adding a young talented cast that add some needed drama to heighten the tension.

S02 - (9.5) Season 2 remains as addictive as ever, as Kreese's appearance brings the two dojos against each other, making the conflict reach an epic explosion of a finale that eleveates the stakes and leaves you wondering about the fate of your favourite characters.

S03 - (9.2) Cobra Kai comes to Netflix as it changes the tone to appeal to a broader audience, but even this change doesn't alter the fact that great character development, a devilishly well performed John Kreese and highly entertaining fight scenes are still at play here.

S04 - (9.1) The show might be getting too cookie-cutter for some, but the pairing of Silver and Kreese and the pairing of Johnny and Daniel bring new life into this season, and a strong All-Valley tournament ends this story in awesome fashion, as there is still no clear answer in who's right and who's wrong.

S01 - (9.4) Sam Raimi returns to his flagship franchise to bring it back from the dead, combining an excellently performed Bruce Campbell and a clever script that brilliantly combines comedy and horror seemlessly.

S01 - (10) Coming from wonderfully wicked source material, every single detail from performances to directing is so on point that it's able to tell a complex story in just 10 hours of peak television.

HND REVIEW

S01 - (6.5) The runtime of some episodes may be too short to tell satisfying tales, but the star-studded talent in front of and behind the camera are more than enough to carry this anthology series to 4 enjoyable viewing experiences.

Money Heist (2017–2021)

LCP REVIEW
19 June 2022
S01 - (9.7) Too slow for some viewers, this show manages to write delightfully grey characters performed by a talented cast into a thrillingly paced situation that will leave you on the edge of your seat every time an episode ends.

S02 - (10) As chaos insues inside the heist, the whole amalgamation of changing variables makes this season of television an emotionally packed, fast paced, excellently performed and undeniably unpredictable journey.

S03 - (9) The show changes completely in tone, turning into an action-centric thriller with story conveniences and big set pieces, but it still manages to keep the heist genre essence from previous seasons, as the finale gives us one of the best hours of television there is.

S04 - (7.3) The action and thrills from the previous season are still intact, as well as great performances all around, but the script devolves more and more as we are seeing incoherent moments and stupid decisions that take you out of the story.

S05 - (7.6) The final season stumbles at the very beggining without a lot of direction, but it does end with a powerful ending worth of the very best of this series, putting a bow on an influential series that will not be soon forgotten.
