30 Rock: Queen of Jordan 2: The Mystery of the Phantom Pooper (2012)
Yawn....
I seriously hope this is one of the last episodes with Tracey's wife. It's just annoying, maybe not quite as bad as Scott's Tots (if you know you know), but pretty close. I guess part of it si that I detest all of the reality shows to begin with like every housewives show ever made... It's pretty much the degeneration of our society, but I digress. Anyway, "Angie" is a loud, annoying, poor excuse for a "wife" and again, exactly what is wrong with this world today. Hey, I have an idea for an episode... Angie is on the phone driving down the street yelling at Jack, Tracey, Liz....whomever and suddenly she goes off the road into the Husson, the end!
Superstore: All Sales Final (2021)
The best ending to a series I've ever seen!
Admittedly, I hated 80% of this season. That being said, up until now I would have given the best ending for a series to The Office, or maybe Friends.
Potentially the best of all endings could have been HIMYM, but we all know how that went....
So yeah, I loved the fact that everything and everyone was tied up perfectly. The way they even gave you a look into everyone's future... Jonah and Amy's marriage and new kid, Glenn's new store with Mateo and Cheyane, and the fact that everyone remains friends and still see each other.
For those of you that watched the Office, it had a very similar ending with Garret's voice over as the future played through. They even let Carol continue to be part of the group....😂
Definitely glad I stayed for the final!
Night Court: Justice Buddies (2023)
It had potential, until this episode.
I loved the original series, and I have watched this one, until now. Just like the original it's kinda campy at times and you of course have to suspend reality to enjoy the show... That being said this one was ridiculous. The last thing I want to watch is bs like this this. Pushing the left leaning agenda that felonious criminals are really just poor misunderstood activists instead. Because that's you know, the truth of the new world. Honestly, I would have expected this 3 years ago during all the riots, but apparently the writers felt bad that they missed out on that "joyous" time for them. Some days I don't know why even get out of bed...
Bewitched (2005)
It was great for what it was.
I loved the original series growing up, albeit I watched reruns due to my age. That being said I really thought this movie put a great spin on an old show. It's not like this was supposed go be a remake. I'm sure all of the complaints by other people are valid. It was a bit campy, cheesy, and predictable, Will Ferrell was his normal self and Nicole Kidman, whom I normally do not like, was actually likable in this movie. Just like everyone else I like seriously thought provoking movies...dramas, action flicks, and pretty much everything else depending on my mood. INCLUDING movies like this that are for the most part pleasant, funny, and fun to watch. No agendas, no major drama, plenty of cameos by different actors. I would actually enjoy seeing more movies like this these days.
South Park: Post Covid - The Return of Covid (2021)
I learned something today...
Just got done watching this, loved it. I'll be honest though, yes, my man Eric can be an a-hole sometimes. But this poor guy 100% turned his life around and became a great person, until everyone screwed up the time line, admittedly, mainly him. But still. So what did I learn? What was the lesson of this show? Be selfish, worry about yourself, don't do for others! Everyone shows up after Kenny dies to morn him, it's been 40 years since the pandemic started and pretty much everyone, except Cartman, is unhappy and/or holds resentment. Eric has turned his life around, became Jewish, a rabi, 3 kids, and a wife. They go through the entire story and change the timeline and everyone's life is turned around and great...except Eric, Cartman is once again the loser, it's just not fair! #equalrightsforeric.
The Unit: Natural Selection (2006)
Easily one of my favorite episodes..
I believe they could have done more on Bob and the selection process, that being said, still one of the best. Loved the back story of how Bob joined the unit, great show/series, sad it went the way it did and only lasted 4 seasons. Maybe if they would have done less with the wife drama and more with the military side it would have lasted longer.
How I Met Your Mother: Last Forever: Part Two (2014)
Did you like "The Mist"?
If you loved the happy go lucky ending of great movies like "The Mist" where a father unnecessarily kills his son or... The rah-rah ending of "Rogue One" where everyone you got to know and love DIES including the robot.... Then you're gonna LOVE this ending! After years and years of Ted trying to find, "The One", he does... Then she f'n DIES and he ends up with Robin after her and Barnie get divorced! WORST ENDING EVER! Don't waste your time.
Enterprise: Marauders (2002)
Predictable, boring, unrealistic, and not worth the time...
Just like with most of the Enterprise episodes, this one does not disappoint in continuous disappointment... Supposedly a rag tag group of dirt miners after a whole 2 1/2 days of training take on a group of obviously mentally challenged Klingons that have been apparently trained by every enemy that the Power Rangers have faced in the past... It's a joke, don't bother.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Once More Unto the Breach (1998)
A fitting end...
A great ending to a side story ghat started with James T Kirk and the original series. It shows what can happen when a great warrior is beaten by himself, yet this one has one battle left in him. Definitely one of my favorite DS9s! My only complaint is that there was no footage of his final battle.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Valiant (1998)
GREAT POTENTIAL....Bad follow through...
Have to admit I was pretty stoked right at the beginning when the Valiant swept in and saved their @$$! I also have to say as someone whom can't stand Jake Sisko, I was extremely happy to see him get told to basically STFU and get out of the way. I really liked Nog's storyline in this episode as well, showed his character's true potential as a young engineer after his time with O'Brien and time in Star Fleet Academy. In Nog's speech to Jake while working on the torpedo he almost sounded like a Klingon with his talk of duty and honor. You could see his drive and devotion and for once he was totally competent in his duties. Jake even gets thrown into the brig, BONUS! The only thing Jake contributes to the storyline is mor sniveling and whining as normal. He speaks as his "father's" son and what his father would do if he was there, yet in Jake's only brush with battle it proved him to be a coward with a yellow streak down the middle of his back that left Julian alone and (possibly) to die. I would have liked to see a slightly different ending, maybe the Defiant or another ship come in at the end to save the ship and at least some of the crew...or something like that. Just didn't care for the ending and of course, the continuous "I'm a reporter" whining and crying from Jake, could really do without him!
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: In the Pale Moonlight (1998)
One of the top 5 episodes of ANY Trek Series
Throughout my watching of DS9 I have had a few episodes that I've considered really good. Sisko has never been one of my favorite characters, in fact, he's definitely towards my bottom. Garik on the other hand is definitely one of my favorites, however this is the first episode where I actually respected Sisko and was happy to see him do what needed to be done. And Garik is always willing to get things done, one of the reasons I love him. If you can get past Sisko's over acting and drawn out dialogue, the inner struggle and turmoil makes it worth it. By far the BEST DS9, and easily in the top 5 of all episodes of any of the Treks.
Bad Boys for Life (2020)
Bad Boys for Life, could be better.
**Spoilers***
Okay, I loved the first 2, actually liked 2 better than one and was expecting 3 to be great. I called pretty much everything before it happened... Mike getting shot, Captain getting killed, killer being his son, everything...VERY PREDICTABLE. That being said, some of the one liners and comedy between Smith and Lawrence were gold, they definitely still got it. I have to say the worse part for me is Marcus's character. Basically the entire movie he is a whiny baby constantly complaining about violence, retirement, being at peace, etc... To the point that he's basically got PTSD and is borderline an unreliable partner. Overall, I give it a 5 for the comedy and a few of the action scenes. Not terrible, but definitely didn't live up to expectations.
Deputy (2020)
So much potential, get woke go broke.
Was looking forward to show, then I watched it. Had great story potential, then they ruined it. Anyone that knows anything about law enforcement knows it's a joke. Sheriff refusing to help other agencies? A detective kills a guy then takes his kids in to foster them? Sheriff goes on raids by himself? The whole show is a joke, I think I made it through 4, glad they canceled it. I will say the little bodyguard chick was hot though.
World's Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji (2020)
Could have been great, just okay..
Seriously, the racing part of the show was great. Following the individual teams and their struggles as they ran the course for the most part was interesting, however, Team Endurance was too much. I get that the father-son duo with the father suffering from dementia was their claim to fame, but enough. I have a father with dementia, so I understand, but enough. They were at best a sub par team and after about the fifth time I had to hear, "We're doing it for him..." Just gets old. Spread the story out more, quit trying to do the hard case story and just stick to the race...PLEASE!
Trainwreck (2015)
So it's a comedy trying to be a drama?
Or vice-versa, either way it's terrible, don't bother.
