Better Call Saul: Breaking Bad (2022)
Great, nonlinear story telling
Not the absolute best episode of the series but a cool, nonlinear experience that is here to contextualize and re contextualize some scenes from Breaking Bad.
Comic Book: The Movie (2004)
A waste of time unless you're a comics geek or a die-hard Mark Hamill fan
This is essentially an over-glorified convention video with some additional b-roll and post production work to pad it out to the length of a feature film. It's cheap, not funny, and very awkward. A few amusing cameos hear and there bring it up a point, otherwise AVOID, do NOT go out of your way to watch this. If you do, don't spend extra money on it.
Tales from the Darkside (1983)
A scattershot series marred by a lack of budget and poor direction
This show was pretty edgy for its day but does not hold up. The bleek tone may appeal to some horror fans. Many of the scripts were poor to begin with or never come alive thanks to mediocre acting, unimaginative direction and a general lack of budget.
Very few of the episodes were good. A lot of them were simply average television fair and about a quarter of them are bad bad bad.
