Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Boring and 125 minutes too long
I'm a huge marvel fan. In fact, I loved the first two Antman films. However, I am very angry at this new film. They really let us down here.
For starters, the visual effects aren't as top notch as you would expect from a high budget marvel film. I was definitely a little upset on that front.
Secondly, absolutely no plot. It's simply a terrible build up to all the other films with Kang. Fair enough, it's pretty necessary but it's just annoyingly useless.
Thirdly, it's simply boring. It's just lacking in everything and the script was just lazy writing. They clearly didn't put enough time and effort and didn't take it seriously enough!
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
Almost disrespectful
I'm a mega marvel fan and loved black panther! It was such a good film and engaging all the way through. This though, it's disrespectful to Chadwick. To start off with, it's boring! I spent most of the film on my phone because it was too boring to even watch.
Fair enough, it's pretty important and has some key things so you probably have to watch it. It's a challenge to watch it. The first hour is 8/10 the second is 6/10 and the last 40 minutes were 4/10.
There was so much potential and they wasted it over this. I'm really disappointed as I was waiting for this to come on to Disney plus for so long.
Wednesday: Wednesday's Child Is Full of Woe (2022)
Great starter to the series
After watching this episode, I had no doubt that Wednesday would be a good series. They set up everyone's character perfectly and even got us started on mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and truly can not wait to watch the rest of this original Netflix series!
It's very fast paced and gothic. The way it's set up is all about Wednesday moving to Nevermore after she is expelled from her other schools. It's apparently a school for outcasts and her parents say she'll fit in. She doesn't, but she makes friends with some other members and is beginning to like it there. It's a real cliffhanger.
