24: Day 2: 4:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m. (2003)
One of the best episodes in this series
Dennis haysbert shines bright with his acting prowess..our very dear driver from Heat. Overall this season is fast paced and highly bingeable. Current crop of showrunners need to take notes.
Eternals (2021)
Eternity be thy name
It's like everyone is on Xanax. They've made a genuine effort to put us to sleep. Impossible to concentrate and dull in every aspect. They'll have us believe salma hayek, the eternal, didn't have any super power to run or fly away from a gorge!
Backtrace (2018)
Trace less
One incredible thing about this movie is absolutely no one featured in this movie can act. An understated fact is nowadays Matthew modine speaks like he is Obi wan. Speed up a little buddy!
The Terminal List (2022)
Well this blew my brain!
Something has to be said about a show which I am on the 7 ep in 2 days flat. This is the first time in recent memory I have actually felt a strong urge to binge on a show. The story is crisp, intriguing, emotional, packed with action and edge of the seat stuff. Author Jack Carr's other stuff would need to be looked into now. Chris Pratt shines bright and plays his part perfectly, a navy seal commander out to avenge and hunt some really old school bad dudes. Of the same mold as Amazon's jack ryan stuff, the direction and screenplay are top notch as there really isn't a moment's filler in all of the 7 eps I have seen so far. It is littered with non stop highly believable action produced with finesse. Pretty much every episode ends with a mystery that pulls us back for more.
The story keeps things exciting by taking us places including Iraq, Syria, Mexico, all over California etc. Some shows really fluff it with the surrounding cast but the host of characters introduced in pretty much every episode compliment Chris pratt's epic and legit performance. Constance wu and Taylor kitsch need to be commended for memorable and outstanding contributions. And the color reduction really suits my room which is always dimly lit!
I've been on the lookout for a well produced, well executed, fillerless, bingeable action thriller for ages and this show finally hits the spot!
Ozark: A Hard Way to Go (2022)
Those giving a 1 rating
Undo your rating you idi0ts. This was probably among the better episodes this season no doubt. The ending was certainly intriguing as we still don't know which body fell to the ground.
Severance: The We We Are (2022)
Smashing finale!
And with that we have ourselves a new Lost and Westworld mash up. Suspenseful edge of the seat stuff. Writing for this show is gonna be excruciatingly difficult and I wish the writers the very best!
