The Bear (2022– )

Just good

After winning all these Emmys i decided to watch The bear. The story is about a young chef who tries to save his brother restaurant. With an inexperienced crew and with many problems Karmen must find a way to save his brothers property.

To be honest the whole concept looked like a reality to me. Arguments inside the restaurant, bad food and all these. But after watching some episodes i found something interesting about it. There are some script holes of course. The cast i nust say is good. In my opinion there could be a stronger chemistry between the characters. I think they were not much tied to each other. Only in the last episodes i noticed this strong bond between them.

Overall The bear is not the best but also not the worst series you can find. If you like cooking then you should definitely give it a chance. Of course i am going to watch season 3 as well.

Echo (2023–2024)

King pin carried again

This particular series seemed uninteresting to many, but I was really intrigued by the character of Maya from Hawkeye. Especially when I learned about the return of the kingpin only indifferent did not seem to me. On the plus side, then, the return of the King pin. Personal favorite Marvel villain. The correct King pin of course. Basically as true as Marvel could do to the Disney world. Okay, I have no complaint, they tried to do something. But Daredevil's too ( or one scene only, but that's okay.

As for the series, in general, it left me satisfied. Short series ,only 5 episodes,introduced us quite well to Maya as acharacter. It showed the dramatic past of the protagonist in the right way.

However, Marvel must pay close attention to these two characters Fisk and Daredevil in the new Daredevil as they are two very strong cards for the company and if the new series is not at the level of this Netflix series I will be very disappointed.

However, I still like Maya as a character and the actress who plays her is quite good. I look forward to seeing her again in new projects 7/10.

The Marvels (2023)

Higher further faster

The last movie of 2023 New team in MCU. Perhaps the most badly reviewed movie before it even came out just from the trailers. Of all the recent Marvel movies, this is probably the one that bored me a little more. I'm not saying it wasn't watchable I'm just saying it was a very average movie.

I loved the connection and chemistry between the Marvels as well as the combination of their powers in the fight scenes. Of course, in some scenes it was as if I was watching a Disney musical you will understand what i mean For me, we may be dealing with one of the most uninteresting villains in this film, although I liked the performance of the actress who embodies this character Overall The Marvels is just a good movie Do not ignore the post credit scene.

9-1-1 (2018– )

118 always in our hearts

It is a TV series that manages to balance humor, drama, and suspense. First of all, the reason to watch this series is the amazing chemistry that the characters have between them and of course I am not referring to the whole 118 group which is a family but to specific duos. Maddy Chimney Buck eddie and Christopher Hen Chimney Bobby Athena. They matched perfectly each other.

Some calls were funnier and more relaxed giving a sense of humor and comedy but more serious and difficult reflecting the hard work of the hero firefighters. That is why you never get bored of this show.

Looking forward to season 7.

Secret Invasion (2023)

Could be better

After very long time we see Nick Fury back to our screens. To be honest I was waiting so watxgmuch Secret invasion. It was okay but I think it could be better.

The first episode starts very strongly. I did not like that Maria Hill was killed from the first episode. I would like to see her more but anyway.

I was relieved that these series did not contain silly jokes or humor.

Episodes should be longer especially the finale but I loved that every episode had a big surprise at it.

Overall the series was just good. Not the best but also not the worst. The cast was excellent especially Olivia Colman.

We wait Nick Fury at the Marvels now.

Fatherhood (I) (2021)

Very emotional

Fatherhood is a very emotional movie. Shows the story of a father whose wife dies after she brings to the world their first daughter. After this tragic incident Mat ( Kevin Hart) finds himself doubting if he can manage to grow up his daughter alone. While everyone do not trust him very much Mat finds the way to prove everyone wrong.

A very touching plot. I could not believe that Kevin Hart would be so good in a role like this cause his name is most connected to commedy movies.

This movie sends you a direct message. That you can do everything even if you have to go through obstacles like Mat loving his wife.

Totally recommend Fatherhood.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Yes that is a movie for the Guardians!!!

We see Guardians after very long time I do not include Thor love and Thunder .She was exceptional. He had it all. Action, laughter, emotion. He showed the Guardians how ut had to show them. The love between them, the intense feelings they have for each other. Definitely the best of their 3 movies. Epic fight scenes, very nice cgi and it might have been the marvel movie that made me laugh the most. It combined amazing humor and drama.

I loved how they focused on Rockets life. I think it is one of the most important characters from the Guardians.

The music was suitable for a Guardians movie One of the best movies in last years.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

When Marvel meets star wars

First film of Phase 5. Special case for Marvel since it had to introduce the first appearance of Kang the villain who will accompany us throughout Phase Five. The real KANG and not the one we have already seen in Loki.

The movie was more or less what I expected. Lots of cgi as we had seen from the Trailers, lots of action and quite entertaining.

There were some things where you say ok Ia m here and I am watching a Pixar movie. Personally aside from She Hulk, I have had nothing but complaints about this whole Disney Marvel thing. I am not saying that the movie is bad because of some scenes that maybe were a bit invalid for Marvel and more reminiscent of a Pixar movie, they were just completely out of character for a movie that has to show a lot of seriousness since it introduces the new main villain of the universe Anyway, Honestly, the whole setting of Quantum realm reminded me of star wars. The environment the weapons the characters of this universe even the costumes of the actors were like the movie was set in one of the planets of star cities no joke.

Still I think Ant man is just a good movie. Entertaining, the cast excellent as in the previous films. Kang will be a dynamic villain who I believe will show even more tough elements in future films Dynamic credit scenes.

The Weekend Away (2022)

Classic murder mystery

The weekend away it is a classic murder mystery movie like one of these kind of movies that make you a detective while you are watching it.

Two best friends who they have not seen each other for a very long time spend their weekend in Croatia. Suddenly one of them disappears and the other try to find her in every way.

I like very much mystery movies especially like this one with many suspects. You do not know what to believe. And when you think everything cleared up the plot twist is there to make the movie more interesting. Plot twist until the end. And that is why I liked it very much Cast was good.

The only script hole I did not understand is when the camera caught the man who threw Kate in the sea and everyone thought it was the police officer. I mean they did not see who was really was?

But it was the only thing I found wrong.

It is a very good movie to spend your time.

12 Feet Deep (2017)

OK....

I found this movie on Tik Tok and immediately searched for its title. In general, I like this kind of films, that is, not widely known and short ones.

Two sisters who don't have the best of relationships get trapped in a swimming pool for hours. They try to survive at every cost.

The movie gives you psychological thriller vibes and I liked that.

Out of nowhere a bad guy appears out of nowhere and to tell you the truth is that I didn't find where exactly he was needed. Nevertheless the film for its budget was good. Strong emotions and anxiety. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't recommend watching it.

Free Guy (2021)

Beautiful and entertaining

When I see Ryan Renolds is the protagonist I just press the play button.

Free guy is a very clever idea. Of course we have seen some similar movies like pixels but Free guy is different. The movie is so beautiful to your eyes cause of the brilliant special effects. So many colours and other stuff that makes you think you are in the video game too.

In addition the chemistry between characters was very nice. Not just the real people but more between the NPCs. Director and cast made the difference here because even in a video game players that do not even exist in real world share emotions like real people. An of course I am talking about Guy and Buddy.

Cast was very good.

Finally all these cameos of the streamers and the way they presented it like they were streaming on YouTube that time made the movie more realistic.

So if you are looking something light, funny emotional but also with action you should definitely watch Free guy. Another Ryan Renolds performance that can make you forget all your problems.

Andor (2022– )

A star wars story..

Rogue one is one of my favorite star wars movies. When I first watched it I found Cassian Andor a very interesting character and I always wanted to learn more about him because he is one of the most important resistance faces. Then series Andor came and my wish came true.

Andor is a very good series. 12 episodes full of action that never get you bored. The last episode was the best. It contains all the fighting resistance spirit.

All cast was very good but Diego Luna is incredible. I think this role suits perfectly to him.

I am looking forward to watch season 2. Especially after this credit scene.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022 TV Special)

A beautiful Christmas story

After Werewolf By night Guardians Of the Galaxy holiday special is the next Marvel Special Presentation. After endgame we see Guardians again on our screens. No I do not count Thor love and thunder cause they were there for 5 minutes only.

Mantis and drax want to make Peter have a beautiful time at Christmas. So they decide to bring him as a present Kevin Bacon. They travel to Earth and After creating such a chaos they take him to Peter.

Guardians of The galaxy Holiday Special is very funny But the main point it is not the commedy. Peter is in pain cause the loss of Gamora. And his friends are doing everything they can to make him feel better. That is the point of this special. To show one more time the love between the Guardians.

I cannot wait to see them again in vol3.

Only Murders in the Building (2021– )

Entertaining But too much commedy

Only murders in the building has something that you will hardly find in other TV series. Combines commedy and mystery. That is, if you want to watch something with suspense but also something light and not so dramatic, this particular series is suitable for you.

That impressed me in Only murders in the building.

But I have to dwell on what made me rate it only 6.

I understand that it is a light comedy series as I mentioned above. But when you decide to include murders, mystery you must put a proper block to commedy. The excessive and unnecessary commedy destroyed characteristics which, if the intense emotion, dominated a little would take off the series. It is one of the few series in which I could not discover, I would say, the chemistry between the characters.

Personally, I believe that the characters never got to know each other in depth. There were no scenes where they exchanged any thoughts from their lives, all that they went through to become friends, how their encounter changed their lives. And when that happened, the unnecesary comedy again ruined everything. Like, for example, Olivers issue with DNA tests. Such an important issue could ask for support from his friends. And we could see some intense scenes. But the series was largely comical. That was the only thing that made a bad impression for me in the series.

As for the cast, Steve martin and Martin Short were delightful. Selena Gomez's acting wasn't terrible but she tried.

Anyway, in general, the series is enjoyable. Something good to spend your time. I am looking forward to watch the third season.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)

Wakanda Forever!!!!

The last movie of 2022 and also of Phase 4 has arrived. A phase that divided i would say Marvel fana. This Black Panther is very different since Chadwick Boseman was absent. I would say that this movie was a challenge for Marvel. Beyond they had to do everything good to honor Chadwick, creating a film without your protagonist who has been loved by the audience all these years, but also to manage the character for the future of the MCU is just as challenging to do. I believe they succeeded to a satisfactory grade Phase 4 ended in a pretty good way.

First the movie contains a lot of action. More than all the recent Marvel movies. From the very first scene, while I was waiting for the intro to drop, it starts full force. It immediately draws you into the plot.

The effects were very impressive. Ok Marvel has us used to strong CGI (with the exception of some recent projects) and effects but really in this particular movie for me it was awesome as well as the fight scenes.

As for the cast. I think the lead Letitia Wright ( Shuri ) had a very difficult task. This particular film was a special case for her. Because she was not called to simply embody Shuri. She had to capture through her role her sadness for the loss of not only her cinematography brother Ta Chala but especially Chadwick and pass it on to the viewer as intensely as possible. He tried to give it his all because it is not about a death of an MCU character but a real death of a loved and very talented actor like Chadwick. Especially when the film is dedicated to him. And I think he responded perfectly, as did the rest of the actors.

Finally, regarding the passage of Iron Heart, I personally am waiting for her series very much after her appearance in the film. Namor is an interesting character The credit scene is very interesting.

I'm not saying it's a perfect one. It has some problems but is a very very good marvel movie.

Logan (2017)

Brilliant

After all these movies with wolverine this is the perfect way to end wolverine saga. Old tired alone taking care the also old professor x wolverine meets a little mutant girl pursued but scientists. She asks for help. Logan denies but professor conviece him to help her.

In Logan we finally saw what we did not in xmen movies. R rated scenes. Violence that suits to Wolverines character. I loved that. It added something different to the movie.

Professors X death was very emotional.

Logan death too. After Ryan Renolds confirmed Wolverine will be in Deadpool 3 I got crazy. I hope they find the perfect way to bring him back and watch a perfect duo with Deadpool.

The Father Who Moves Mountains (2021)

Give me back 1 hour 38 minutes of my life

You were expecting an end? Hahaha me too. The only reason I did not stop watching it was to learn if finally father managed to find his son and his friend. But probably the writers were bored to write the ending and they were happy with it.

He brings a whole army, he pays volunteers to help him in the mountains and the only thing we see them is digging digging. Also What kind of parents leave their children to die because they tired?

The movie has a lot of problems but like I said the worst is the ending. We never learn what happened. They survived? They did not?

What a waste of time. Personally I do not have problem if a movie has a bad writing or something like that. I get crazy when I the ending is not good. Or in this case it does not even exist.

Inhumans (2017)

Interesting

After watching agents of shield I decided to watch inhumans to discover more about them. The truth is that I had seen a lot of negative reviews about it. But I have to say is not that bad.

OK it is not the best show but it is very interesting. It travels you to another world. Different. Attilan is a very beautiful place. I found the royal family very nice. All characters were good. Personal favorite Black Bolt. I believe it would be nice to see them in the MCU in the future.

Overall Inhumans is something good to spend your time. If you want to learn more about them you should definitely watch it...

Fall (I) (2022)

Good to spend your time

Fall is good movie to spend your time. There is not too much action but it keeps you until the end.

Ok some scenes were extreme like Hunters jumps to catch the bag. Supernatural I would say.

I was surprised by the big plot twist about Hunters death. The movie did something different there and I enjoyed very much. Acting was good from both girls.

Overall the scenario is classic but if you want something to spend your time I would totally suggest it. If you are bored of movies with 1 place only like this then skip it. But if you are looking something with suspense check it out. Personally I found it interesting.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2020)

Amazing, Fantastic but it would be better if it had ended In season 5

7 Seasons 136 episodes 5 months to finish it The question is were they worth it? The answer is YES.

The truth is that when I decided to start this series I did not expect such a scenario. I mean aliens, or super powers. I expected completely different things.

I found Coulsons character very interesting. I liked that the series focused a lot on him and in particular his love and devotion to the SHIELD. Overall the cast was very good. My big weakness is MAY (MING NA WEN) and FITZ (IAN DE CAESTEAKER). Also excellent is CHLOE BENNET as Quake who I would go crazy if I saw her at some point in the Avengers.

I was impressed that we saw things through the seasons awhich we now see in the MCU. Multiverse, Darkhold, Madame Hydra. Ghost Riders passage was satisfying All the seasons were very very good but maybe for me the series should end at fifth. It would have been the ideal ending with Coulson dead and Mack taking over S. H. I. E. L. D. Maybe they took it a bit too far especially with Coulson coming back as a robot. I think since Coulson died it should stay that way. But again the series keeps you interested even in the last two seasons Finally, I must stand on the relationship that the team members had with each other. I loved the intense element of feelings they felt for each other and that gave it something on the series withh the highlight of the FITZ Simmons relationship. And yes I will say it Agents of shield better than Avengers haha.

The Avengers may have stopped Thanos but the others dealt with aliens with robots with monsters, went to space and saved the world escaped from virtual reality . 10 /10 so for Agents of Shield.

Day of the Dead: Bloodline (2017)

If you are a fan of Zombies movies you will find it interesting. I found it even i am not fan of movies of this kind . I liked it very much. The action was good and the cast also. I found it difficult to find a plot hole that made me to make a bad opinion for this movie. The only thing I was disappointed with is the fact that after the first scene the ,attack at the hospital, we see Zoey in the bunker and we never know how she got there. I mean it would be nice too see what happened after the attack how she escaped.

In general the movie for the Zombies stuff fans is enjoyable. I don't get the bad critics.

I Came By (2022)

Good but with problems

Well the plot was kinda predictable. I am talking about the secret on the basement which is a common movie scenario. Of course a man captive.

To be honest I thought the protagonist was Tobey. The movie starts with him and for long time he appears in it.

OK it was watchable but I mentioned there are problems. First of all we never learn who is the first man, the one Tobey finds. And the most important after the judge captures Tobey WE NEVER SEE WHAT HAPPENED AFTER.

Not to mention the funny scene in which Tobey takes the hammer and runs to kill him and slips like an idiot. This scene reminded me more like a comedy scene.

Anyway the rest is the history. Even if someone has not watched the movie can guess what happens. Tobey's friend finds him beats him and hand him over to the police.

Like I said predictable. But despite all these I Came By is an enjoyable movie watch and spend your time.

Let's Be Cops (2014)

Very funny but with some serious script holes

OK I have to admit that I laughed very much. I liked the relationship between Ryan and Justin. The movie has two sides. One is comedy that makes you laugh. And the other is the emotional scenes inside the commedy. For example i liked very much that these two guys did all this just to do something with their lives, just because everyone laughed on them. There are a lot of scenes on the movie.

But i have to mention all things that disappointed me. Like I said script holes.

First, in the scene that mosi chases Ryan and Justin to kill them, he shots in the air and he runs out of bullets instead of find them and kill them. Very bad.

Also, Cigars cover their lie. A police officer covers such a big lie. I would like to see some different things but whatever it's a comedy. A very nice comedy to spend your time.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

No words

She hulk August 18 Me: It is a lot of fun, I think will be good That did not go too well I personally have not commented negatively on any Marvel series. I liked them all. In general, I had never taken a stand on all this fuss about Disney and Marvel. But it is time to do it after watching She Hulk.

I honestly cannot think of anything positive to say. If we exclude Daredevil who I also expected to see at least half the episodes but we saw him in one and a half nothing else is good.

The series should have been called Jennifer Wolters love life or her personal issues. Because that was the whole series. Nothing to keep you anxious until next week comes around. Children script, cringe dialogues and bad humor.

I said that Ms. Marvel was reminiscent of a teenage series, but it had a script that kept you hooked. You were saying something, we will see something later. You cannot say anything here unfortunately. A Hulk that we saw in 2 episodes, an obscene Abomination and an ending that DOES NOT MAKE SENSE as if they were bored to write a proper ending.

9 pointless episodes and Secret invasion will be only 6 even though Nick Fury has 3 years to appear in a movie.

I hope Marvel never create something this bad again.

The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022)

The book of.... Mandalorian???

Ok let's admit that mando saved the whole series. From the first episode i wasn't so interested in the series. Actually i was kinda bored. The truth is that the appearance of the mandalorian and all other characters made the show better. BUT.... Its the first time i see the main character of a series not to be in an episode. It would be better to see the Mando 's story in season 3 on his own show and not in Boba fet's show. I have to admit tho the fifth and sixth episode was very good.

I liked to see Grogue's training and final fight on the last episode, but i insist it would be better to focus on Boba Fett and not other character.
