Really Enjoyed the First Several Seasons, But...

...the last few have veered off of what made it enjoyable. It seems like they are all "the bad guy likes the victim and gets turned down so he comes back and kills her" or the "girl's significant other turns out to be a psycho". Let's get a little variety going, please.

And the absolute worst change (in my personal opinion) is the fact that they're now skewing the story so that any man in the victim's life "might" be the bad guy. Some random dude she saw at the gas station who ends up having nothing to do with the story, let's harp on that for ten minutes. The make it seem all sinister. Sometimes it's okay to let the bad guy be the bad guy from the beginning. I don't need two other men who have nothing to do with anything shoehorned into the plot for drama's sake.

Night Hunter (2018)

Thoroughly Entertaining Ride

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I wanted to let people know that for the average viewer, this will be a well spent hour and a half.

I happened upon this movie via my Amazon Prime "movies you may like" section, and I'm glad I did. There's no slow buildup in this movie, you start with action and it just keeps going the entire movie. It was an enjoyable thrill ride the whole time.

There are a bunch of pedantic reviews taking about how "this could never happen", or "that could never happen that way", but honestly, don't all movies require us to to suspend our belief, and embrace a new narrative? I've never seen a superhero movie and said "OMG, this movie is not real because people can't fly". Ughhh. Rant over, sorry.

If you're a fan of crime/suspense movies, then you will enjoy this. I did..very much.
