A West Texas Children's Story (2007)

A film that stays with you

This film is the tale of twelve year old Benjamen Reynolds who is neglected by his parents meets a girl named Cassie after her parents die in a car wreck. Upon becoming friends Cassie convinces Ben to run away with her to Baltimore to meet her Aunt and Uncle, all the while Cassie hides a secret about the car wreck.

That is the basic plot line of Have Dreams, Will Travel but this movie is anything but basic, it is magnificent magical and heartbreaking all at the same time. Heather Grahm and Val Kilmer are great in the small roles they have but none other is better then the stars Cayden Boyd and AnnaSophia Robb.

AnnaSophia Robb has proved herself time and again as being a capable actress in such films as Bridge to Terabithia and The Reaping. Here is no different; her portrayal of Cassie is Oscar worthy.

Cayden Boyd only notable role in the film industry prior to this is young angel in X-Men 3 The Last Stand, and he has proved himself in this movie to be a fresh new addition to the next generation of actors.

Have Dreams, Will Travel is in a genre all its own its not a love story NOT a children's movie not a drama, not an adventure. It is a piece of art crafted by a brilliant team of writers actors and directors.

Have Dreams, Will Travel, will indeed travel far this film is grand delightful and truthful of the ugliness of the world.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)

amazingly good but could have been tremendously good

i loved it personally i have read the all the books just got done with the 7th one not 5 minutes ago i loved this film. But i could have been better its missing the quidich matches which was a very important subplot in the book. This movie was missing a lot BUT all that was made up in the wonderful performance's by the cast Sirius was funny and courageous Dumbledore was calm cool and collected Kingsly was funny and bright but overall the characters that shined the most were that of Daniel Radcliffe who gave his Best performance which is of much relief do to his poor acting in 4. Evanna Lynch shined in this movie as the fan favorite Luna Lovegood and she is Oscar worthy for her performance. Imelda Stanton made you hate umbridge so much she played the role magically truly a horrible person in the film which she made you hate so well.

all in all this film kicked ass not as good as book but its close.

Bridge to Terabithia (2007)

nicely done incredible movie for the new year the cast Josh Hutcherson Annasophia Robb Zooey Deschanel Robert Patrick and Bailee Madison were amazing truly excellent work Oscar worthy effects priceless veteran directer Gabor Csupo famous for TV's rugrats did a tremendous job producer David Paterson son of the author was brilliant the speed of the plot is perfect much like te book missing only a couple of scenes one that would get them arrested and another that those stupid religious leaders would attack and only missing only one important scene its a great book a must read and must see especcially the way they expand the world of terabithia for the viewer it great perfect topnotch see it
