Antlers (2021)
That's not what they look like.
I am 100% convinced that the director and writer did absolutely no research on wendigos. They don't live anywhere near the west coast. They are from the Great Lakes Region and East Coast. They don't have deer skulls (or any animal skull for that matter) or antlers and they are not missing their eyes. They are gaunt, skeletal, humanoid creatures with milky eyes. If you want to see what one would actually look like, watch PBS's Monstrum: Wendigo video on YouTube. Heck, play Until Dawn, that's far more accurate than this one. This image of a wendigo having an animal skull was designed by Larry Fessenden (who interestingly enough, also helped write Until Dawn, but that was years after he already created the animal skull version in his movie Wendigo).
There's also the wendigo that is basically made of ice, but again, it doesn't have an animal skull. Also they eat humans, not animals. So I don't know why this one was feasting on a bear carcass.
Anyway, I watched this movie because I'm obsessed with the wendigo myth. I knew going into it what type of design they were using, yet I was still incredibly disappointed.
Bratz (2005)
This show defined my childhood
I used to watch this show every Saturday morning before ABC played One Saturday Morning (Bratz aired at like 6 am, and One Saturday Morning started around 8). It was seriously my favorite cartoon for years. When I bought the Rock Angelz GameCube game, it brought me right back. I wish I could find this show and watch it all over again!
