First Kill (2022)

For a new series, this is just not good

To be fair, the concept is a bit lame, but I thought I'd give it a try. However, the script throughout the series didn't make up for it. Just because it's LGBTQ+, does not mean that it's good. It's not strong enough to compete with other series in any way.

I do love Elizabeth Mitchell in it and it would've been so much better if instead of a teen love story, it would've been between Margot and Talia.

If you like predictability and a cheesy (teen) story, this might be for you!

The Cuphead Show! (2022)

Expected more

After playing the game, watching lots of gameplay videos and buying the art book, I was very excited when The Cuphead Show was announced.

However, I think my expectations were a bit too high... The script isn't great. I think if it was less aimed at children, it would've been an improvement.

On the bright side, the art does not disappoint!

It's great to see all the characters from the video game on the show.

I definitely recommend giving it a try though!
