The Marsh King's Daughter (2023)
Could be better
The narrative possesses untapped potential, offering an opportunity to delve into the antagonist's motivations. By exploring the reasons behind capturing the mother and his sinister desire to subject his daughter to a similar fate, the story gains depth. Unveiling the psychological intricacies behind his actions can add a layer of complexity, portraying him not merely as a malevolent force but as a character driven by specific motives. Introducing subtle details about his fluctuating behavior with his daughter, alternating between cold detachment and moments of apparent warmth, will further intrigue the audience.
Till (2022)
Good but could be better
The movie's commitment to capturing the essence of a true story is truly admirable. The characters felt real, and their struggles and triumphs were depicted with great authenticity. It's a testament to the filmmakers' dedication to honoring the source material.
Nevertheless, the slow pacing was a significant hurdle for me. There were moments where I found my attention wandering, and I had to remind myself of the compelling true events that inspired the film to stay invested. A more dynamic storytelling approach could have maintained a higher level of engagement and excitement.
In the end, while the film's leisurely pace tested my patience at times, the strength of the true story and the outstanding performances made it a movie I'm glad I watched, even if it required a bit more patience than I initially expected.
Robots (2023)
silly but enjoyable
While Sharliene's performance is a shining beacon in this cinematic tale, the same cannot be said for the lead actor. His portrayal leaves much to be desired and, unfortunately, is a significant drawback to an otherwise engaging movie. The character he embodies, central to the film's plot, is portrayed with a level of detestability that, at times, becomes challenging to separate from the actor himself. It's unclear whether this is a testament to the actor's skill in immersing himself in the role or if there's a fundamental lack of nuance in his performance.
The character in question is meant to evoke a sense of ambiguity and complexity, but instead, the actor's interpretation leads to a strong aversion. Whether intentional or not, the result is a character that the audience loves to hate, but in a way that leaves a bitter aftertaste. While a certain degree of disdain for a character can enhance a movie, the challenge here lies in distinguishing whether it's the character or the actor's execution that elicits such a strong negative reaction.
The Crowded Room (2023)
Great!
From start to finish, the story had me completely captivated. The intricate plotlines and well-crafted narrative kept me hooked with every episode. The character development was exceptional, making me genuinely care about their fates.
And the acting, oh my! Tom Holland's performance was an absolute standout. His portrayal brought a depth of emotion and authenticity that truly elevated the series. His ability to convey complex emotions through his expressions and delivery was a true testament to his talent.
But let's not forget Amanda Seyfried, whose acting prowess shone brightly throughout the series. She brought such depth and vulnerability to her character, making her scenes incredibly compelling. Her chemistry with the rest of the cast, especially Tom Holland, added another layer of authenticity to the story.
In conclusion, this series is a must-watch for anyone who appreciates a gripping story and outstanding acting. Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried's performances are nothing short of brilliant, and they are undoubtedly a major highlight of the show. It's a rare gem that manages to excel in both storytelling and acting, creating an unforgettable viewing experience.
Only thing sometimes I felt that it could be little shorter but overall it's an amazing work!
The Crowded Room: Rya (2023)
Good episode
From the heart-pounding action sequences to the intimate moments of introspection, the acting shines brightly and brings a depth to the characters that elevates the viewing experience. The chemistry among the cast members is palpable, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the relationships that unfold on screen.
There's a subtle feeling that the show could benefit from a bit of brevity. The plot, although intricate and well-crafted, occasionally meanders through subplots and character arcs that, while interesting, seem to prolong the overall narrative. There's a part of me that wishes for a slightly more streamlined progression, where each episode contributes meaningfully to the central storyline without too many detours.
Blonde (2022)
No words
I really don't know much details
about her so this movie was my first
"documentary" to watch but it's really
bad.
1- it's so slow and long
2- doesn't show much details of really how she started or why would she do particular things
3- so much unnecessary +18 scenes
unfortunately I couldn't continuo watching
but to be fare the acting is great.

Inventing Anna (2022)
nothing useful
It's really amazing how she did all of this without anyone doubting her, but I think it could be shorter actually but I'm in love with Neff and the director did so good filming it I like it.
