The Judge (2001)
A Disappointment
23 December 2001
When I saw this movie on NBC a few months ago I though with its great cast including Chris Noth, Edward James Olmos, and Lolita Davidovich it would be a decent made - for - tv movie. It wasn't. Noth was phoning it in, Olmos was far to sullen and Davidovich was under used. The story had a disjointed feel and it started to drag in the first hour of the 4hour story. Not worth the effort of watching.

Hollywood Confidential (1997 TV Movie)
Worth the $2.50

The most likely straight to video release was pretty good. Don't let the B movie tag line detour you this is a decent thriller with some good acting from Olmos and very sexy Charlize Theron. Not Oscar worth but not a piece of trash.

The Big Hit (1998)
Half way decent.
16 December 2001
The Big Hit was an experiment in blending the Hong Kong action> genre and American humor. It failed to make a cohesive package that it needed to be but it does have it moments. Plus it has a cool mid 90's soundtrack featuring No Doubt. Watch if you have nothing to do for a two hour and if you sufficiently lower your standards, you'll enjoy it.
