You People (2023)

Bad, bad. bad
1 May 2023
"You People" was a garbage dump of a movie. An absolute waste of time and money. The performances are terrible, the story makes no sense and the production quality is so low it looks like it was filmed on a potato. Save your money and watch literally anything else. Trust me, your brain cells will thank you.

Jonah Hill looks like a bum and who cast him as the lead in a romantic movie anyway?

This movie contains no values or teachings, let alone any kind of fun. It's flat and doesn't produce laughter for a single minute, despite being a comedic film.

To finish this review, just don´t watch this movie and see anything else.

Paternity test?
11 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Awful movie, very bad sequel, full of cliches and stereotypes, including, of course, some kind of feminism.

The first thing that came to my mind was "where is the DNA paternity test?" Because anybody could have been the kid´s father. Literally, anybody.

(Not to mention that in the first movie, they went back alone to their department)

So, after that failed premise, the movie went downhill.

Please, don´t waste your time watching this garbage.

The Rookie: Revelations (2021)
Season 3, Episode 6

Worst episode so far
22 February 2021
I like The Rookie, a lot.

But I have to say that this episode was the worst by far.

An evident intent of brainwashing, very typical of these troubled days.

Hope the next episode will be as good as the others previous to this crap.

Sick of these agendas.

Boy Toy (2011)
Worst movie of the year
19 November 2011
Usually I write reviews in two occasions: when I really like the movie or when I try to warn others about it. In this case is the second option. This is by far the worst movie I have seen this year. Totally predictable, flat characters, stupid argument, bad acting, totally unlikable characters, you don't care what happen to them. So, in few words, please don't waste 90 minutes watching this garbage. That's it. This film has nothing good to be talked about. Even you're looking for an easy laugh, you'll be disappointed. But if you're a 12-year old and/or your mental age is around 12, maybe you'll find this movie funny or at least you'll chuckle a couple of times. But if you are a grown adult, forget it.

Born to Race (2011 Video)
Very predictable, Born to Suck!
15 October 2011
Since the beginning you know how the movie will be end. Is not at all original, the movie just takes things (a lot of them) from other movies. Bad acting, poor dialogs, anodyne characters. The hero, the guy that looks like a young Quentin Tarantino is boring, and at the end, who cares if he wins or not? Like other reviewer said, the film is full of clichés: the High School bad guy, his girlfriend who fall in love with the new kid in town, the rich dad, the drunk/loser dad, etc, etc. Nothing new. If you want to waste 94 minutes of your life, go ahead and watch it. There's a movie much better than this, even better than Tokyo Drift. Is called "Initial D". I assure you, you won't be disappointed with Initial D. You won't regret using 107 minutes from your life to watch it.

Most (2003)

Amazing
10 December 2008
One of the most touching Christian movies ever made. Is a must to see it with your family to really understand John 3:16, the message about the sacrifice that God made for us sinners. You'll never forget it. If you want to build your library with movies with Christian message you have to include "Most", together with "Facing The Giants" "Flywheel" (the first movie from the creators of "Facing the Giants"), "The Time Changer" (excellent and very under-rated), "Fireproof", and of course, Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ". We just watched "Most" today Wednesday at my church (Church of Christ of West Orange) and many of our visitors left with tears on their eyes...

When you watched the movie did you realize this?
17 November 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Oh boy... I'm worried. I read the 59 reviews (until now, Nov 17 2008) at Netflix and only 2 (two!) of them addressed my concerns. At IMDb only two of 19 did the same. The Whitfields are a Christian family, and even one of them is Deacon in their Church. But as Christians they are supposed to live by higher standards and be example to others. Despite of this one of the girls have casual sex, the other one sleeps with her boyfriend at mama's house, another got pregnant his girlfriend and even the Deacon of the church is living unmarried with a woman!!! Besides all of this, the movie portraits as "normal" that one man abandon his family (wife and children) to pursuit his "dream". What about responsibility? And the bathroom scene involving baby oil and a beating is not funny at all. Is pathetic. The guy could sue her for domestic violence and all of you know the consequences for it...

Super Bush??? No way...
5 September 2008
First, let me tell you I'm not Republican nor Democrat. And also let me just say that this movie treats the facts incredulously loosely. Why paint Mr. Bush like a hero?

And what about the "defiant" phrases like "No tin-horn terrorist is going to keep me out of Washington!" ?! We, as thinking human beings prefer our history unfiltered. Because if you know your history about 911 (like almost of you do) you will spend big time weeding out the truth from the lies.

However the appreciation of the content will depend on your political inclinations, because if you are a Republican, you will appreciate the patriotism of this movie ("Super Bush"), but if you are a Democrat, this idea about "Super Bush" will have you either laughing and frustrated (or both!!!). And I agree with another user who says that this film may ignite certain furies in attempting to justify the war in Iraq.

Finally, and the reason why I gave just one star to this movie is because this film is so Republican propaganda from start to finish, that if you can swallow it... bon appetit... If not, please avoid this trash...

I'm worried
6 March 2008
I'm worried. Not because the producers decided to make this movie. Not because of the actors. They are free to do whatever things they like to do with their bodies (despite the fact that our bodies are Temple of The Holy Spirit). I'm worried because of the great quantity of viewers who ranked this movie between 9 and 10 stars. If this movie for them was a great movie, the future (our future) looks very dark. How anybody with common sense would like this kind of movie? The same we can say about "Superbad" and "Knocked Up". What's the message for the young ones, the future of the country and the world? For our tomorrow leaders? College equals alcohol, drugs and sex? Nothing else matters? These two movies also were highly rated for most of the audience. What about responsibility? What about the consequences of our actions? I'm worried, definitively.

Bad bad bad
18 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I'm thinking of some things for this movie: First, really is a very bad movie. This is really "Superbad". The film looked very promising in the trailers but fell flat... Maybe the original idea was good, but between a bad script and bad acting the movie became boring and empty. My advise is don't waste 2 hours of your precious time. You have been warned. This is the first movie I rated 1 star at IMDb.com... Second, none of the characters are likable. You really don't care what happened to them... Third, the villain is very easy to identify. The grandson kills his father, sodomizes the friend's son, get the maid pregnant, smothers his grandfather... Like JT says, "If you like evil with no retribution, this is your movie". Nothing more to say...
