Get Blake! (2015)
I like Get Blake!!!
This show tries to remake old cartoon plots and clichés and even though it does it in an exaggerated and bizarre way, it still manages to be a lot of fun.
The characters are quite likable (mainly Blake and Mitch) and the Squirrels can be very comical villains.
Although there are episodes that lack sense, logic or reality, it doesn't really matter much because it is a series that tries to be based on a slice-of-Life comedy mixed with science fiction.
The music in the series is very good and there are moments that are usually very entertaining and well animated (especially with Blake doing his stunts on screen).
Three alien squirrels from the future chasing two children who are trying to escape from their traps, it sounds weird and illogical, but it turns out to be very entertaining.
Wander Over Yonder (2013)
Wander Over Yonder: A Beautiful Underrated Gem!
Wander Over Yonder is a very beautiful series that reminds me a lot of the cartoons I used to watch in my childhood. It's so funny and the characters are fun and endearing.
Wander is a character that reminds me a lot of Mickey Mouse for being an example to follow, at the same time he has a bit of Bugs Bunny cunning and is quite adorable to watch.
One of my favorite episodes is the Prisoner one that shows how crazy and funny Wander can be and how he manages to fool his friends, something similar to Bugs Bunny (as I said before).
Now, One thing I like about Wander's relationship with Lord Hater is that both characters are so different that they create a unique and perfect chemistry. Wander doesn't try to defeat Hater, he just tries to be his friend (something very similar to SpongeBob with Squidward, but at least he's less annoying than the sponge)
Wander is a character who seeks to teach us that with love and peace everything can be resolved. (I know, some would think it's a pretty cheesy concept since Wander is some kind of Space Hippie, but at least this series manages to do it in a very good way)
Each episode is a different story focused on the main characters: some episodes focus on the friendship between Wander and Sylvia (The Void, The Epic Quest, The Box, The Lonely Planet are good examples) and how they have to solve problems from others in a rather funny and wacky way, very similar in a way like the Hannah Barbera cartoons.
Other episodes decide to focus on our antagonists Lord Hater and Commander Peepers (The Prisoner, The Bounty, The Fancy Party, The Brainstorm, are other good examples) in their intergalactic plans ti take Over the Universe and their attempts to capture their adversaries, that is, Wander and Sylvia.
The series was at its best from its second season with the arrival of the Lord Dominator (who actually turns out to be a girl) and how this affected the illusion of each character. From this point an epic arc is created where the characters discover various changes as the second season progressed. Little by little we get to know new characters and some interesting information about the protagonists, such as who Sylvia's family is and certain aspects of Wander's past (which it still a mystery to this day).
Despite everything, this series could have given us much more in its third season (if only Disney had given it a chance instead of canceling it).
Wander Over Yonder is a beautiful series with great characters, humor we can all enjoy, and positive messages parents can love.
Camp Lakebottom (2013)
I really love this show... Despite being hated for everyone...
I really like this show. It has a classic feeling with a Lot of adventures. The camp has very attractive scenarios and the pacing of every show is smooth. The animation looks nice and some character designs are actually good. And if i can talk about the characters, i really like them and that's why they can Get to be so lovable at some point. If i can talk about the episodes; the majority are pretty fun and entertaining. So yeah, like, this show isn't perfect, it got some issues like disgusting fart jokes and some characters may not be that likable, i still think this show has potential and that's why i love it so much, Even for being a canadian show. So for me this show is great.
