Great, great, great short film experience
26 December 2009
I was suggested to watch this movie by a friend via internet, she said how funny it is, but when I heard the premise I started thinking that this might be something along the lines of "Epic Movie", boy was I wrong. From the get go I was surprised to see that the movie has a beautiful cinematography, and when it came to special effects I was once again surprised it had really really god FX for such a small film. And the main character was so awesome, Paul Clemens did an outstanding job portraying this troubled person who is chased by a Spoony himself.

I would honestly recommend this movie to anyone who loves fun experiences, and is not a afraid to try something new. And I really really hope that Richard Gale has some big projects after this, I think he has the directing chops to make a lasting impression in Hollywood.

Excellent comedy, that dares to step out of bounds
4 June 2009
Where do I start? First of all I was really sad to see that many people left the cinema halfway through the screening. For me leaving a cinema is a rude act. But that aside, movie itself is loaded with dark humor that sometimes may seem out of line, but if you go in the movie with the right mindset you are able to experience comedy, in a sort of similar style as Jody Hills previous works as "Eastbound and Down" and "Fist Foot Way", of course there are many situations where you just have no idea who to root for, and who is supposed to be the good guy, but that is the whole point, making the main hero sort of anti-hero with his crazy antics and little to no regard to safety of those around.

Of course some could argue that humor was too full with obscenities but in the end this movie needs it.

I will definitely go to see this movie again, and buy it when it comes out.

Great insight in the minds of teenagers
7 March 2008
So, I watched this movie after hearing about it on many different occasions. I have always liked movies about teenage life, especially when they are cooked correctly. And this is such case. Movie perfectly shows the power struggles, that may occur in every class. And how cruel can teenagers be. I personally have been in a situation, where most of my class is against me. So I could easily associate my self with main character.

At some points of watching it, the movie really got to me, because my hands started shaking, and I got shivers on my back. Just because, I knew how painful such attitude can be.

I'd really like to give kudos to operator, and all the actors, that were working on this movie. Camera work always showed perfect angles, so people could easily follow the story. But all the new actors, that were working on this project, played really good, without hyping their performance, what usually happens for new actors.

This movie should be shown in every school around the world, because it shows where can cruelty lead.
