Awesome Tenkaichi game on the go...
28 October 2010
I have to admit that I didn't think it would be possible, but I guess in this time and age, anything is possible and this game just proved me correctly. Dragonball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team brings the full-fledged 3D fighting to the PSP and it does the job just right, resulting in an awesome experience on the go.

You have over 50 favored characters to choose from *excluding transformations* and you have some beautifully shaded areas to fight in as well. You have an awesome and true-to-Manga storyline that truly delivers. Think of it as a mini version of Tenkaichi 2's story mode. You have the challenging Battle 100 where every win brings in a more powerful opponent.

Where this game truly shines is in the tag battles. Play with your neighbors or even play with totally 3 strangers, just play with 3 other people and enjoy a clash that is just too good and too pretty on the psp's screen. Destruction and chaos at it's best and on the go.

Overall, I really and whole-heartedly recommend this game to anyone *yep, anyone including non-anime fans AND non-fighting fans* cause this game will truly make you come back for another another go... or another all-out clash.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent... Descent to horror, bound by none...
28 October 2010
The horror genre is truly one of the underrated genres of gaming, but that's because the gaming industry is running out of ideas for this particular genre. You get a lot of idealistic "Hollywood story" horror games every year, it's getting annoying. Same old plot. Same old weapons. Same old frights. Nothing really standing out (except maybe a few rare gems which have come out the last few years like Dead Space and Penumbra) This time around, it's different... Completely different... Redefined horror... REAL horror... The one that gets your adrenaline pumping... The one that makes you sweat as if you were there... The one that lets you live the character... The independent Frictional Games (The one behind the awesome Penumbra series) shows the big gaming companies how to do it right. The 5 genius minds behind Frictional Games are really all it takes to get you to watch your back. You start out as an amnesia infected Daniel, who can't remember anything but his name. You're in a castle and you just have to know how you came here.

The darkness deep within this castle hides great horrors and terrors that are just to good to be spoiled... You'll just have to "run for your life" yourself... 10/10 *Highly recommended for horror fans*

WARNING: This game is NOT AT ALL for the weak-heart, easily scared, easily fainted ones... You have been warned...

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (2010 Video Game)

This beautiful addition to the MGS series is without doubt one to shine...
28 June 2010
We've been living with the MGS series for quite sometime now and we were intrigued to find out the story behind Big Boss and the cold war. We played MGS 3 but it wasn't enough, we wanted more, and after the direct and simple MGS Portable Ops, we still wanted more...

Now here comes Peace Walker with full glory in everything. Expect the highest graphics for the PSP, Beautifully shaded and built environments and consistent frame-rate. You'll manage an entire army and this time around you get to recruit people to your base using the Fulton Recovery System which uses a hot-air balloon with the help of a chopper to send the soldiers back to the base (A HUGE improvement from the usual dragging of Portable Ops by the way)...

I won't say much cause then I'd be spoiling a major one and a special one to play, but know this. If you don't get Peace Walker right now (fan of the series or not) you'd be missing one hell of an experience on the go...

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai (2006 Video Game)

Beautiful... Just beautiful !!
28 April 2009
I really love this game because it is very well done in every aspect. It's like a portable budokai 3. I always carry this game around in my PSP's memory and this is one of a few games that really impressed me this way. Beautiful graphics, Beautiful environments and our beloved heroes all give out a seemingly flawless Dragonball Z game for the psp. I also think that the controls are easy to get used to and each character's ultimate move is a simple combination of buttons which give out a super duper attack!

Overall, I think this is a really beautiful and addicting game. I never get tired of playing it and I never get tired of killing the same old villains again because it is just so much fun. I really really REALLY recommend this game to all my fellow DBZ fans and non-fans as well. Because as much as this is pure Dragonball, it is a respectful fighting game in it's own standards. Get it now!

Believe it! Shin Budokai has gotten a lot bigger and better!
28 April 2009
Dragonball Z Shin Budokai Another Road is the successor to the first Dragonball Z Shin Budokai. You get to fight in 3D style with all your favorite characters from the show. And that's not all. The story mode captures the style of budokai 3 on your psp and you even get to pick comrades to help you fight the villains. The fighting system has improved but the controls are still simple and what's more is that the arenas got bigger and more beautiful. This game is super addictive when you are on the road and got nothing to do for 2 or 3 hours. You just take out your psp and fight like you have never fought before!

Overall, I think it's a big improvement over the first, seemingly-flawless, Shin Budokai and I recommend it to all my fellow Dragonball Z fans and those who are looking for a super fighting game on the go.

The Tenkaichi series doesn't get any better than this...literally
28 April 2009
As much as I love the Dragonball Z video games and especially the tenkaichi series, I really think that Tenkaichi 3 is the magnum opus of the whole tenkaichi franchise. Seriously, I mean how can it get any better than this? We get to play with all the characters from the complete Dragonball universe, starting with a kid Goku and all the way up to Gogeta SSJ4 with a roster of 150 characters in the middle. We get to fight in the most famous arenas that appear in the show and in the movies, if not all the arenas. Even at The Other World's entrance aka Janemba's Hell. And the multiplayer is all that a fan can ask for. As a Dragonball Z fan, I see this as THE fighting game for the ps2. The challenging and the powerful modes will dare you for more, and there is room for improvement. Fight in a wide arena to really show your power.

Overall, I recommend this masterpiece to:

1) Dragonball Z fans

2) Fighting fans

3) People who are looking for a game to stay with them for a long time.

Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World (2008 Video Game)

For hardcore fans this can get appealing
19 January 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Well the game is basically budokai 3 with more characters, a harder AI and cutscenes (I think those were from the first budokai but improved with cel-shading technology)...But still, this game can be an entertaining standalone, if you look at its pros.

There are now many enjoyable mini-games which can appeal to the fans, like Goku running everywhere in the forest searching for Gohan and reaching checkpoints, or Goku running on the snake way, or even catching the lovable ape, Bubbles from the famous show.

The only Con I find in this game (which for newcomers, can get a bit frustrating and even overshadow it's pros) is the harder AI. I mean seriously Atari, "very easy" and I had to fight Omega Shenron like 50 times to beat him!?...I know you can do better than that Atari.

Overall, the last Dragonball Z for the Ps2 is a good addition to the best-selling franchise and can even be enjoyed by those who are used to button mashing and making combos.

The Proof of bravery is the four star ball
20 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is great!! and the storyline is amazing and even touching. I mean it shows how to be brave, when Pan dies and Chibi Goku goes on an adventure to search for the 4 star ball. It's also funny, when he and Pak become scared from Zangiya, The blue alien they meet in the dark forest. It even shows the appearance of the great Son Goku (The original Goku) when Chibi Goku becomes disappointed and cries when he realizes that the 4 star ball can't revive Pan, so Son Goku appears and tells him that he needs all 7 balls. He also tells him not to give up. I like the last part when Chibi Goku remembers the words of his great grandfather Son Goku.

Anyway this movie is one of the best movies in The Dragonball GT Specials !
