A sheer contribution to mankind
10 February 2008
It doesn't happen very often, but from time to time in history the human race has managed to create something so supreme, so perfect and so outstanding that not even does it become a wonder, but it also lifts the entire creativity in man to a higher level and sets a new standard according to what people are able to create and how they evolve. The show Taxi is the result of one of those man made manifestations.

Its real, its genius and its surprising. Its the art of acting, humor and intelligence come together. It captures centuries of human knowledge and wisdom. So marvelous put together, that not only will it be the best creation of its time, but its also an ideal for all times.

Many shows since are a reflection of TAXI, with many ideas, taken more or less directly from the show, and have become famous on that base. But they will never ever reach the hight of the original: TAXI Which once and for all proofs what a unique and unbeatable masterpiece TAXI is. A true wonder. Now, then and forever.

Love
26 January 2007
This movies beautifully illustrates the love between 2 men and their struggle against selfacceptness, hatress and lack of freedom in a society that doesn't allow them to live, and to be free beings and be as they are. In a society, that would rather see men fight and kill each other, than to see them embraceing. Its about the misery, fear and mistrust it causes for all when you are forced to live a life that isn't right for you.

Few movies understand how to bring the message and give a impression like its really happening. This one does. It succeeds in showing what love between 2 men can be.

The scenery of the movie is like taking a glimpse into the past around 1910 in England and makes you feel right there.

One of the best
20 January 2007
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I have seen a lot, but this stands out positively. Its art.

Its not easily digested, so if you like a movie without putting yourself into it, this would not be the one to choose then.

However if you like depth, humor and real affections and human emotions of all manners, this movie is a good choice.

Its about the transformation of being narrow, unhappy and closed to change into a sensitive, alertness, warmness that makes it possible to feel love and fullfillment. In this case for the very first time. Its the princess(Birgitte Price) that goes through the transformation, and she does it with amazing expressions and reality. The credit of this movie goes to her. The prince is good too, with just the right appearance and behaviour.

The main actors has a unique chemistry and are masters of acting. The dialogs are carefully chosen and penetrate accurately if you listen with your heart.

The shooting locations and music is very authentic and matching.

The essence of its story is timeless and valuable i.e. true love and how to be open to receive it and live it.
