Bunch of liars and crazy self-proclaimed 'witches'
16 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Michael Grubb the alleged guy who posses the power of 'aerokinesis' is just pathetic. This guy is already in his middle ages and still believes he can airbend like avatar Aang. My Lord, the cringe and lack of self awareness is off the chart! How can you be THAT delusional in THAT age? This guy definitely peaked at highschool.

And the 'bigfoot' footage? That's obviously a guy wearing thick winter coat, henche the posture. Those kids are lucky they were unharmed bc I think that's not a bigfoot, but more possibly a potential murderer. Has anyone ever thought that PROBABLY said 'bigfoot' actually approach those kids because 'it' was attempting to silence them?

What if they unknowingly witness a scene of a guy disposing a body in the middle of snowy woods. They could've been next. A mass murderer is way scarier than a bigfoot.

Can't go wrong with vivica
13 January 2022
These Lifetime movies should be renamed to "Vivica A Fox cinematic universe", and that's a compliment from me! I wonder tho, with the somewhat open-ending with the easter egg style, does this movie have a sequel?

Points reduced for unecessary romantic subplot (or at least write it better!)
12 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe none of these reviews mentioned Laura Fraser's marvelous work as Kate the blacksmith. The movie's narrative that a spoiled princess is more desirable than a hardworking woman is something that kinda bothers me. Also yes, if Laura and Shannyn's roles were reversed, I'd still root for whoever played the blacksmith woman to be the love interest.

Granted, Jocelyn IS a ride or die kind of woman and loves Will unconditionally, I'd give her credit for that. I managed to grow fond of her character around the last 45 minutes of the movie. From her willingess to elope with Will despite the obvious hardships, to going out of her way fetching William's father to the stadium so he could witness what an amazing knight his son has become.

However, the story and plot felt like it dragsged on because of the ever-so-cringey romantic subplot that I cannot stand. But that's not the actors' fault, those are the writers' responsibility. Had Will and Jocelyn's love story doesn't feel so shoehorned or, dare I say 'typical', girl meets boy then comes love, i wouldn't cast such disdain for this part. The courting scene really was a pain to watch. Which is a shame bc other than that I actually enjoy this lighthearted flick. What can I say, I love medieval settings, accurate or not.

The movie is not meant to be taken seriously. Enjoy the training montage, the jousts, the banters, the medieval sceneries, buildings, and Jocelyn's wide range of well-designed clothes. The out of place rock music and slangs were there on purpose, so bear with it.

This came from an era where cinemas were not dominated by disney and marvel, so it's something precious. I'd say the movie is good for viewing more than once for nostalgic reasons. Tho i'd definitely skip the parts where the romantic subplot scenes will take.

So sick of seeing madison keeps surviving
7 September 2021
Madison doesn't deserve to live after what she did to dylan. The whole Nick situation is brought on HERSELF! She keeps blaming Nick as if she wasn't the one who WILLINGLY cheated on Dylan and replaced him just like that, and when things go south she's all like "oh no! My new bf who was my affair person is a psycho!! Oh poor me!!!"

And in EVERY instalation she just keeps having some magical superheroes SWOOP IN to rescue her in the nick of time! Ugh what a princess!!!

I wished the ending took a dark turn and have her dead or stuck in the psychiatric ward, honestly all Bethany needed to do was just stab her!

Madison DOESN'T deserve a happy ending!

Psych: Lassie Jerky (2013)

Annoying guest stars
2 September 2021
Of all episodes of psyche, i've always enjoyed every single one of the episodes and i've always find the guest stars ranging from hillarious to endearing, kate rogal and that spanish guy is UNBEARABLE! Not funny, cringey, and the attempt of making her as some 'free spirit' 'european-esque' nympho really doesn't help anything with her character or whatsoever

worse guest stars and use of characters ever, i wish those two were never in this episode ever.
