Can't believe I fell for it
31 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I had very little knowledge of Inside no. 9 before this having only seen "Cold Comfort" (and remembering next to nothing about it). I knew the show was an anthology but that was it. I walked in on my dad half way through watching the episode (he'd seen it before) but I genuinely thought it was a quiz show as my family are big on those. I thought something about the Oakwoods seemed strange but I kept my mouth shut until my dad said "doesn't something seem off about one of the teams?" and I told him that the middle ones seemed very odd. We kept watching and I even joined in on answering the questions. I recognised Gemma Page however when I asked my dad if they were celebrity teams he said that they were just regular people. I watched this on March 30th so when everything happened at the end I initially thought that it was an early April Fools prank. So even though I did not watch this episode live, it had me completely fooled and it wasn't until the end credits came up with actors listed and the title of the show came up that I realised that my dad had tricked me. Definitely give this episode a watch and trick your family members into thinking it's a game show as I then tricked my brother later on and it's hilarious. Ended up watching multiple other episodes of this show and enjoyed it. Worth the watch.

The Whale (2022)
8/10
Brendan Fraser is phenomenal.
4 February 2023
I'm not particularly into slow or talky movies which this definitely is but that's not a bad thing. It was not a bad movie, one of the best I've seen in fact, just not my thing. Brendan Fraser is phenomenal. He blew me away. The supporting cast are just as amazing and there were moments I did really forget they were acting. Like I said, slow or talky movies aren't really my cup of tea so there were moments where I was a little bored as I have a very short attention span. The only reason I didn't give this movie a 9/10 was for that reason. My brother (who I saw this with) absolutely loved it. He didn't stop talking about it all the way home. This sort of movie is his favourite and he thought it was amazing. I would definitely give this movie a watch if it's your thing or even if it's not. I actually did enjoy it but like I said there were moments that felt really prolonged however the movie still really held up and I left the cinema still completely invested in it.

High School (2022– )

Loved it!
30 October 2022
I loved this show! I thought it was amazing in every way and the actors playing Tegan and Sara were phenomenal. I didn't expect a cheesy drama as I was previously familiar with the memoir but I wasn't expecting it to become one of my favourite shows. There isn't one boring episode this whole season. As someone who is in high school, it's an accurate portrayal of what it's like. I loved how it switches point of view of the characters and not just from Tegan and Sara but to characters like Patrick and Simone. I like how it validates the feelings of teenagers and doesn't belittle them in any way. 100% recommend!

I love this movie!

I'm a huge fan of Victoria Justice and her movies so I was so excited about this movie. I love it so much!

Besides some cringy writing here and there and cheesy moments it is a great movie. It was way better than I expected. The acting was great and the end credits song is really catchy! 100% recommend!
