Redemption (2022)
Wow excellent drama
Really good tv crime drama. Excellent acting from the main character & the children & supporting cast. I loved the collaboration with Liverpool and Dublin. Great storyline, not your normal run of the mill. Well worth watching. Each character played an integral part.
The final episode was everything you want in a final episode and more. It kept the suspense and emotional storyline right up until the end. Really hope there is a series 2, showing Colette working in Dublin and solving crime there and maybe a follow up on bringing the O'Donalds to justice, but still keeping
additional story lines with her grandchildren.
FBI: Most Wanted (2020)
Tried to persevere!
Tried hard to persevere with FBI Most Wanted, following a break when Jess character died but I was traumatised. Series 4 so far is dreadful. The new lead Dylan McDermot is a one man show, it's like a Bruce Willis movie. The previous actors have been sidelined, and the new cast members just don't get the storylines to develop the new characters. It's really poor. Seriously, Remi going solo again in S4 EP. 15 Just happens to find the kidnappers in the yellow cab and follows it. Dreadful storylines. Remi is really unprofessional & you need to suspend all critical thinking skills to believe that his character would ever be allowed to manage an FBI task force for Most Wanted criminals. He is too unpredictable & emotionally unstable.
A shame as I think he's a good actor, this part isn't for him though.
Hidden Assets (2021)
RTE do it again
Great Series, really enjoyed it and hoping we will get a follow up series to explore Michael Ironside criminal enterprise and family relationships a bit more . Angelina Ball and Simone Kirby are very good throughout. Well worth a watch. (Angelina Ball in acceptable risk is also one to watch)
Professor T (2021)
Lacking depth, contrived,
I watched the whole series, although I could have stopped after episode 2, I persevered. It didn't improve for me. The characters and script felt forced, the relationships bland. Ben Miller doesn't by any stretch of the imagination 'steal the show', despite leaving me feeling he was desperately trying to convey a part he hadn't really invested any time in developing. It felt so stereotypical in parts it bordered on lazy.
The 'supporting' characters, just didn't have a chance. Six episodes should have provided plenty of time to explore different facets of the the intertwining relationships, but it just didn't happen.
