Disappointed but Kyungsoo saved the day for me!
I am actually very sad that i have to give 7/10 to a drama acted by Do Kyungsoo....a very rare very talented idol who can actually act. I've so far seen some of his previous works and needles to say,I'm amazed by his performance.
But this one actually disappointed me. Its not Kyungsoo or the other actor actresses fault...its probably the writer lost interest in the story midway...thats why the story which could be actually one of the best...turned up become bland, boring and very predictable with lots of loopholes. I also felt lack of chemistry in some scenes between the main lead.
Kyungsoo looked beautiful, both as a commoner and the crown prince. Nam ji hiyun was okay. The cinematography was good. I wish they put some more effort in writing to make it more interesting.
Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)
LoveStoryian kaam nehi kiya....This is not what i expected!!!
Well what can I say,if you're showing me a love story in a movie which is supposed to based on Hindu mythology, there should be something deep, the love story should be connected with the main story, meaningful.
But what did we get?? In this year of 2022,a girl goes on an adventure with a guy with whom she literally met just 24 hours ago....why??? Cause the guy said he likes her and he had some weird dream....i mean he could be serial killer in disguise....but hey,we need to let the love blossom, right? So they are so much in love that they are literally dancing singing on their way to save someone's life in Varansi...in such an intense moment. And they literally confessed their love when they were chased by the villain and the male lead realized he has superpower.... In a nutshell, the message of the movie is Love is the best Astra.
Brahmastra, which according to Hindu mythology is such a powerful Astra or weapon that can destroy the world. It has gotten broken into three pieces. There were also some other Astra's like Shahrukh's Vanarastra,Nagarjuna's Nandiastra and the whole community Brahmansh who are are protectors of these Astras. And Mouni Roy is the villain Who wants all three pieces of Brahmastra for Dev whom she serves. That could be a wonderful movie with proper story telling, thrills and action. But instead we got that half backed love story with no chemistry at all. Total waste of Alia, who is an wonderful actress. The story could be far more interesting if they gave Alia's role some background story or atleast some strong point or connection to the story. She was nothing but a sidekick of Ranbir who only screamed Shiva in every 5 minutes.
Ranbir was also okay-ish for me.
Visually the movie was amazing. Vfx,bgm was really good. Shahrukh and Nagarjuna both did justice to their roles. Waste of a veteran actress like Dimple kapadia. Mouni roy was terrific. Amitabh Bachchan was okay but never understood where did all other elders go. With a better screenplay, storytelling... This could be one of a lifetime movie. We want to know about the background of all the Astra's,their proper uses and everything.
Whatever, kudos to Ayan Mukherjee for at least being brave for trying to do something different. I just hope in part two he will give more attention to the story.

Its kinda okay...not great!
Okay I'm not here to hate on anyone or anything... I just didn't feel any emotion or connection among the characters except Siwon. I think its the storyline...which was predictable and not gonna lie kind of boring. And i really don't like when the male lead is a grumpy arrogant person to everyone except the love of his life. Same thing happened when he was with Min Hari,he was so good to her and a complete jerk to Kim HyeJin,for no apparent reason. And as soon as he got to know who kim hye jin is,his whole attitude changed....doesn't make any sense.
Also why is being loud, clumsy and obnoxious is also a part of being so called ugly??? I didn't find her ugly just because she had some rashes on her face and for her curly hair. But i sure found her irritating and obnoxious for her loud eating and screaming on everything, being childish, clumsy and over the top acting. The moment kim hye jin started to do make up and fixed her hair...she became a whole new person,so decent, calm and collected. Does straightening your hair and applying make ups also change your habits?? I don't know.
However,I liked the second male leads character. I wish he could have a real happy ending.
Whatever,i can't say i enjoyed everything about it. Still it was a good time pass.
The Umbrella Academy (2019)
Season 3 is NOT what we waited for!!!
To be honest, I am really disappointed after watching season 3. Everything is so bland...the story, screenplay, cinematography.... nothing is worth watching. I absolutely loved season 1 and 2,waited so eagerly for this new season. But its ruined. Its same story they kept dragging. Even my favourite characters, Five and Klaus has become bland...its just both Aidan and Robert are amazing actors thats why i kept watching it. But apart from them, nothing else seems interesting. Characters just kept fighting, nobody seems to be interested, its the same apocalypse again.. The sparrow academy was pointless. And its needless to say the actor playing Vanya/Victor...is not someone who can act. His acting range is not something you will be looking forward to.
This is not The Umbrella Academy we wanted.

A MUCH NEEDED HUG AT THIS CRUCIAL TIME!!!
Well....after Reply 1988,Prison Playbook....they did it again!!! Another fantastic drama about friendship, love, relations and most importantly, story of lives. Kudos to the writer, director,Actors and the whole team!!!
The thing i loved the most about this drama is,they didn't show the doctors as superhuman. Doctors are human too, they have their limitations, they have personal lives, struggles, emotions. They can't cure the patients with magic. They also fail sometimes. Its just reality. This thing is portrayed to well in this drama.
Another thing i loved the most,a hospital is not only about doctors and patients. There are so many layers of characters and emotions attached with a hospital. There are fellow doctors, interns, nurses, stuffs, patients family, doctors family..... Everyone has their own story, own struggle. I loved how they at least tried to show some layers of it...and they did it beautifully!
Actors did their job really well. I specially wanna appreciate Mi Do aka Song Hwan for playing the role of a tone deaf singer while being a musical actress in real life...a real tough job i must say!!
I would really love if there was a season 3...but right now I'm really happy with two seasons...its like a warm hug you really need at this crucial time we are going through.

FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS DRAMA!
Well...after Reply 1988,this is another drama that made me feel something inside. Each and every character had their own story, which was shown so perfectly. Some prisoners were actually evil, some were guilty but repenting...and some were just unfortunate or framed or chose the wrong path. All of their stories, actions will make you cry, laugh or think. I was really emotional at some parts and the comdey roles were done brilliantly. Beside the prisoners, the correctional officers were also the life of this story.
I have only one objection,i didn't get to know the end of some characters.. Dr. Ko,Looney or Kaist. Did they get release eventually? Where did looney go? Did his family know about him? What happened to Captain Yoo's retrial?... A little reunion at the end of the show would be great!
Whatever, great show....a hidden gem in my opinion 😊

A laughter riot with slightly disappointing ending!!!!
Wow!!! What a show!!!! Gripping storyline with great comedic performances..this show is here to stay!!! Loved the performances, the King,Court Lady Choi,Hong Yeon,Royal Chef,Grand Queen Dowager....everyone nailed it. Kim Jwa Geyon, as an evil character was really good,it was really amazing to see his calm but determined mastermind behind all the evil.
But the one person that made everything in this show so much better was our beloved Queen! Shin Hye Sun did a blockbuster performance as a chef who got stuck in the body of a queen. Her acting, comic timing, everything was top notch. What a gem she is!!!
But the only thing that i found slightly disappointing was the ending. I mean...it was not the queen whom the king actually loved. It was the duel personality of her,her tantrums, her weirdness, her smartness which is not the queen only. It was the mix of both the queen and also the chef. It was really surprising how the King, who remembered every little thing the queen said, didn't even realise how her personality changed in the end and she started to call her Cheona in stead of his name. He couldn't even know about the body swap...I think that was kind of injustice to him. There could be so many ways how it could end...the chef could die and be reincarnated as So Yong in modern life and also the king could be reincarnated as he wished in the epilogue and both could meet in the modern world.
However, apart from that, its a must watch if you want a laughter riot with a touch of history!!!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART!!!!
Wow!!! I just finished this drama and now i don't even have enough word to say what an amazing experience it was!!! Wonderful storytelling, brilliant acting, mesmerising cinematography, heavenly BGM...like everything was so perfect!!! Kudos to the director, actors and the whole team...this drama is on another level. I was slightly concerned about the age gap between the main couple, but everything else made me forget that so easily. One thing i must say,the bromance between the Goblin and the Grim Reaper was my favourite. However....i wanted to give it much more than 10/10,cause this piece of art really deserves it.
Gumihodyeon (2020)
Are we gonna get season 2???
Just finished the show. To be honest,i enjoyed it. Really good acting, nice story, brilliant chemistry....everything was good. Romance or bromance, nothing was over the top,but nicely done. And after watching the ending, can we hope for a season 2???
Eung-dab-ha-ra 1988 (2015)
Want to go back to your childhood and be nostalgic??? Well...this is for you!!!!
I have nothing much to say. This show was full of so many incredible moments!!!Marvelous acting by each and every actor, wonderful storytelling...it actually took me back to my own childhood!!! So many scenes which made me cry,so many moments which made me think...so many life lessons i got from this one single show!!!
Kudos to everyone related to this piece of art. Its a must watch show 10/10.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
DISAPPOINTING!!!
This movie didn't do justice to the name of the Conjuring franchise. Storytelling, directing, editing everything was so poorly done!!!
The moment i realised it was just some human made curse by some random old lady with no particular reason....i lost all of my interests to watch the movie!!! I just couldn't feel the fear ,the antagonist had no strong background story!! I mean what was the reason behind her doing this?? Why did she chose the victims? What was the connection between the victims??? I want to know. This whole thing was executed so weakly.
The jumpscares were really predictable, some of them were laugh-worthy. And the thing that actually made me laugh was when they showed something like love won over devil or something...really?????
The only strong point was the acting by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. These two carried the whole movie.
I'm rating this movie 6/10 because of the acting by the main characters, the exorcism scene in the beginning which i actually enjoyed and maybe some tiny little moments where i wasn't bored.
