Sôsô no Furîren (2023)
A legend
It starts at leasurely pace and might lose some viewers in the process. But for those who bear on it's a rare gem and experience not to be forgotten anytome soon.
With moments of reflection, touching dialogues and sweeping action it creates a balance that is like nothing else. The characters get their moments, even seemingly minor ones. As for those who are at the center like titular Frieren and Fren I couldn't keep myself from really caring for them and their journey. Their victories brought me high, though I was just sitting on the other side of the screen.
A deep gratitude to everyone behind this masterpiece, you created a legend. You are legend.
Shi Guang Dai Li Ren (2021)
One more anime gem
Totally binge worthy series, a season a day worthy. Interesting and relatable characters, a story which brings emotional roller coaster moments that just do not leave indifferent. Might take a couple of episodes to get sucked in after which is closer to impossible to stop. Separate stories at the beginning nonetheless bringing forth a big one step by step and by the end of the 1st season it is just one big arc during the 2nd. Nice action also included, as well as cliffhangers in the best sense of the genre.

Summer Time Render (2022)
As good as it gets
Was googling what to watch after pretty much liked Oshi no ko and got this one in the ranking off 2022 best.
With moderately positive expectations got into it and was watching almost non stop during the day with 12 episodes watched before the night. Finished in the second day the rest 13.
And what a ride it was. Definitely worth binge watching. Every episodes leaves you on the edge of the seat eager to see whats gonna happen with your favorite characters, especially Ushio. With high stakes, lots of twists, likable characters and terrifying evil it just does not let go. Some very emotional moments in the process that won't leave you indifferent.
Certainly recommend to most anime fans. Grateful to creators for making such a roller coaster.
The Little Mermaid (2023)
Ariel as I remember her
Though some sea creatures were criticized by being too realistic and not being so vivid as in the cartoon version, that is not what really matters for me.
What does matter is Halle Bailey totally owning the title role, her movements, lively expressions, singing capturing what I remember Ariel to be so many years ago.
My applause guess to King's Eric who portrayed the prince as a living human pretty well, and Malik's Grimsby who also provided some special moments with his attitude and remarks.
In all it might have been better here and there and bring more emotions, but as a wise man said - Think of what is, not what should be.
And what is is enough for me.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023)
One of headliners for Netflix
This is one of the shows selling subscription for Netflix, up there with the likes of Stranger things.
Beautiful costumes, witty heartwarming even insightful dialogues, mesmerizing romance. So much to like, even love here.
The actresses and actors, both young and current versions are eyes and earholders, enough emotions throughout the series to win many hearts. Seems to me in comparison with previous seasons this one has some somewhat difficult to watch moments, but it does not make the series worse, just a bit different and gives young Charlotte/India Amarteifio opportunity (not once) to shine.
I'm sure if you liked the previous seasons you should not miss this one.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (2022)
Short but sweet
Loved it till the end, a heartbreaking one. And gosh, what a ride, bombastic one, but with calm moments as well.
As some have pointed out it would benefit from more longevity. But we have what we have, and I am thankful for all who brought this to us, viewers. The story moves on full speed, and you get used and attached to characters, at least some of them, even those with lesser screen time.
May be more will be coming in future - Night city's world is vast and has a lot of stories to share, I am sure of it. And the developers can bring them with a bang.
So, at least try it, if you're on the fence, this show deserves attention.
The Sea Beast (2022)
Great everything
Nice animation, dialogues, entertaining story and important underlying themes. No doubt worth a watch and a recommendation. Creators did a really good job on this one.
Arcane: League of Legends (2021)
Not easily forgotten
Few movies can make the impression that Arcane makes, the characters are believable, animation superb, story impossible to not get captivated by. But the ending, it's just carries a punch I guess I was not quite ready for. Applause to all who made it happen, terrific work!
Pishcheblok (2021)
Entertaining show
Nice actors, especially Angelina Stretchina is so very engaging and captivating. The story so far keeps interest as well, looking for the next episode. One of the better shows from Russia.
