28 Days Haunted (2022)
Ain't no way
Y'all, I'm all for spoopy encounters & ghostly matters, but this show was one of the silliest things I've ever seen. Did y'all really think we wouldn't notice CGI footage when you added shadows everywhere? ....it's 2022. And the fact that everyone was unbothered when the cabinets & door "opened by themselves", but are all for the dramatics when they "feel" the energy in the rooms. SMH. Oh & of course it only happens at night... Why would an actual haunted place have to wait for the sun to go down? Bunch of goofy ahh people fulfilling their childhood trauma of not being seen or heard so they gotta make up for it on camera.
Violet Evergarden (2018)
Queue the Water Works
This isn't my normal genre of anime, but I am soooooo glad I gave it a shot. Not only is it incredibly beautiful to watch, but the substance of the story is beyond what I expected. I'm not one to cry that easily, however the script was written in such an elegant & heart-wrenching way that my tears spilled over & over. Personally, I had to take breaks in between to recover lol The movies were fantastic too. All around a really wholesome story about the complex emotions of humans & what it means to say "I love you". **My only issue with it is the age difference between the main characters was a bit cringe & I tried to ignore it, but I guess that's in a lot of anime shows/movies.**
Web of Make Believe: Death, Lies and the Internet (2022)
Boring. Weird energy. Good for background noise.
This was a weird show & got real political out of nowhere. Feel like there are other stories that couldve been covered for this series, but seems the stories chosen were on purpose to get people in their feels (see other reviews) . As someone who doesn't give a hoot about politics, this was very lackluster & really is a show about how law enforcement are always the hero. IMO not worth the time unless you just want some sound on.
Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song (2021)
Action, singing, saving the world.
This is one of the most beautiful anime I have ever seen. The details they put in Vivy/Diva's eyes alone .... I want each close-up printed out! The story is really great to follow, too, with a great plot, climax & ending. Brought me to tears. I really recommend this anime to everyone if even just to see the details the animators created.
Get Organized with the Home Edit (2020)
It's not a show that will help you "Get Organized"
Unlike the title suggests, this show will NOT teach you how to organize your life. For that, please go watch Marie Kondo's content. This show will however, show you two hosts that need to be seen & heard at ALL times regardless of who is speaking first. I see lots of childhood trauma surfacing throughout each episode. Seems a bit unprofessional IMO. And I agree with the other reviews about the celebrity episodes... we could not care less about the lifestyles of the rich & famous...*yawn*
Ghosts (2019)
Belly Laughs & Witty Scripts
Currently on season 3 & I absolutely adore this show! I get a good laugh in every episode. Kitty is the best written character PERIOD. She is HYSTERICAL with her one-liners, my god! LMAOOO I love the interactions of the different centuries & I hope the writers keep at it because this is the wholesome witty content we all need.
Inside Job (2021)
Propaganda is Legal
Propaganda was made legal in the 2000s. More conspiracy hate. More "these people are crazy". More "if you think on your own you're the enemy." YAWN. Open your eyes and think for yourself, sheep.
The Old Ways (2020)
Great Weekend Watch
Actually really enjoyed this movie <3 Not sure why there are so many bad reviews (prolly virgo season lol y'all picky AF rn). I'd say if you're looking for a newer horror w/ double meanings, confronting your own inner demons, fresh script, non-cringy way of portraying cultural practices, & a few jump scares, you'll probably enjoy this film!
Give it a go! Why not? You've probably watched everything else on Netflix! LOLOL.

If you're into esoteric teachings and hidden symbolism, watch this. Its so much more than you can imagine.
Shingeki no Kyojin (2013)
Just watch it.
Too many good things to say about this anime to type out. Just watch it.
Shinseiki Evangelion (1995)
Before it's time, yet timeless.
This series has a bit of a slow buildup, but you will understand as you continue on. This is going to be a show that will remain timeless with it's lessons of trauma and the human psyche. The biblical symbolism and wording make this series even more curious to those interested in esoteric teachings and yhe missing biblical texts.
Akira (1988)
Don't sleep on this wild ride
If you're into movies that go from zero to one hundred, then you've found your hidden gem. The art is unreal & the story is even more twisted than you could think.
Erufen rîto (2004)
Gory. Heartbreaking. Not for Everyone.
You want a dark anime? This is it. You want an anime that will rip your heart out of your chest? This is it. You want something that has a little bit of everything including a weird crush with a cousin? This is it.
Highly recommend this anime. It was one of the first dark animes I've watched and nothing has come close to the level of blood and violence as this anime.
The cousins thing was weird and I've never really seen that narrative played out in a show, but it wasn't TOO bad. Cringe, but doesn't take away from the overall marvel that is Elfen Lied.
Dave (2020)
Second 1: GOLD Season 2: ????
Season 1, yes. We loved it. We all laughed and enjoyed every part. Stan it all.
Then, season 2 comes. Honestly? Couldn't finish the first episode. Made it to 13:12 and realized this is NOT the vibe. What happened? New writers? Dave is so dang rude and the Korean theme of his song is SUPER cringe. He speaks of a racial war in the states, and yet, is cultural appropriating. What team thought this was a good idea? Huge thumbs down for the 2nd season.
Bo Burnham: Inside (2021)
The Comedian Millennials Needed
THIS IS PURE ART & ENTERTAINMENT!!
Been following this cat since he was on YouTube & just when I think he can't make me laugh any harder, BOOM another special drops that has me in tears. The way he paints a picture and tells a story really is something to marvel at. The songs are unbelievably clever, his rawness about life just hits different, & you won't be disappointed with any of his work. I can't wait to see more of this beautiful human.
