Being the Ricardos (2021)
Off a bit but decent
As an avid fan of the show I Love Lucy, I was put off with some inaccuracies on the set. At the time the movie takes place they are doing a table read for season 1 episode 22 Fred and Ethel fight where she sets them up with a dinner party. They are still in the original apartment when this was taped. Yet the set on the movie shows they are in the second apartment with the window. They don't move to this apartment until after baby Ricky is born near the end of season 2. Nicole did a good job but I constantly felt something was off with her. Javier's portrayal was great. I don't know much about the back story going on around that time but I was surprised at the set error they made.
The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019)
It's not that bad. Interesting perspective.
So the acting isn't top notch, but it isn't bad. It is an interesting perspective of what happened without glossing over what actually happened. Ending was interesting. Glad I watched it without looking at the reviews. It is a true story of a horrible event, but movies are made off true events like this all the time. I don't think it was done in bad taste at all. It's been 50 years since it happened, and the story has come up many times in the past 50 years before this movie came out.
The Spanish Princess (2019)
Not accurate, but good
There are so many historical inaccuracies in this, but it isn't badly done. It's on par with The White Queen and the White Princess, which also were loosely based on the true events. The show does state this at the end of every show.
