Not my type of movie.
Most of characters, especially men, are very dumb at the beginning and seem to have an IQ of 50 at best. Even the little daughter seem more mature and smart.
Lot of scenes are very very very slow and repetitive. The movie is like 2h36 but could have been like 1h45.
The movie start with zombies here and here and no one really seem to care that much, alright let's do our job and move along, next day we chill and talk. Let's chill with some random girl that keep throwing rocks like it's normal.
A movie that want to be complex, mysterious and deep but it's just incoherent, inconsistent, irrational. Weird mix of questionable humour and drama.
An ending with lot of nonsense and no explanation.
Also...
I guess you need to know a bit (or a lot) about the culture of this country and about shamans in general to understand stuff, maybe mythology. I guess actors were fine and sound effect and effect in general were good.

- At the beginning, when they go to Japanese house, why don't they just arrest him when they see the mass photos of victims and murders? His dog also attack the police and priest, but no, let's just say sorry and move on, randomly go to another scene like nothing happen. At least investigate a bit more on him? Tell your boss, anything?
- Is the Japanese good, bad? Was he good at some point, or always bad. One thing is sure, he don't like to... communicate. If you're good and want to stop some evil thing, why don't you... SAY it? Especially when there is this translator around?
- Who is evil, the Japanese, the shaman who came for help but who is evil somehow, or the random girl in white who kinda come out of nowhere... Even at the end it's unclear. It's a movie that end in lot of possible interpretations, in a frustrating way. Anyone can be right if their arguments look legit about the ending and the movie in general.
- The scene at the end where the Japanese is no longer dead but who is satan and he like to take some photos... Lol just cringe.
- The father of church who say ''are you sureeee it's paranormal, just let the doctors do their job :)'' bro there are like zombies outside. Can you be any more useless?
- There is this deleted ending where they show that the Japanese is kinda in team with the shaman (not sure why it's deleted but anyway). So the idea is that the Japanese send some curse to people and then the family randomly call this shaman in particular so the shaman can... I don't know, send curse to the victims too? Why do this demon need the shaman anyway?
- If this shaman is so popular in the story, he must be good at his job. But if he team with the demon, he must actually ''lose'' most of his fights since he's in the enemy team. Again, doesn't make much sense.
- At the end there is this girl in white, is she evil or not, not sure... But she say : just wait and chill here or your family die. The dad don't listen and go, and see his family dead. So waiting would... have helped, how exactly? Lol. Lady in while would have time to... resurrect them, or wat?
