The movie is quite boring with sudden outbursts of the main caracters. You know how the movie will end by seeing the beginning. It is also very American with football and Christmas lights. Having said all that, it's also an interesting description of mentally unstable people.

I found the caracteristics very shallow except for Mikko (the priest), who did quite a good job except for his language. I don't think any priest would use curse words like he did.
The woman seemed to be just a sex addict. I didn't find any deeper interaction between the caracters, just addictive sex.
I liked the relaxed dialogues, Aku Hirviniemi was excellent.
There was not really a proper story or anything deeper. The movie had lots of glanses given between the wife and the guest and even though I normally love just slow camera scenes, in this one it didn't work.
Yet I give 5 stars since I loved the surroundings, the building, the dialogs and Aku Hirviniemi.
The wife and the guest on the contrary weren't credible at all...

I liked the movie. May be their polyamourous way of living was shown in kind of a flat manner, though.
It was interesting to read after the movie that the two women continued living together 43 years after the death of Bill so they surely shared a very special connection.

Beautiful moments in a weak story

The movie has wonderful music but the story is unpredictable, not credible. The screenplay is just bad and the actors can't save the movie (and are not well worked either), though Antti and Björn (especially this latter one) are good in their roles. Karin's caracter is very shallow and flat. I still enjoyed the movie for it's calm, beautiful scenes and the good music.

I am very picky about what I watch. Most of the times I don't finish the movie. However this movie got me hooked ever since it began. Rami interpretes Freddie very well. Also loved the presence of the songs. I didn't go to movies to see this when it first was released and critisized. So I was very surprised that the movie was really, really good.
