The Adam Project (2022)
Only thing not to like is the villain
Love the story, love the characters- yes they even made a villain you love to hate and loved the bittersweet ending.
It actually has a little bit of everything. The love story, personal development, family, action and time travel.
If you haven't seen it yet just get to it already.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
Oh the horror ... is missing
In 2006 my husband and I left the movie theatre after watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, and didn't say a word for the first half hour after the movie had ended. It was so well executed and got under our skin.
Now we've just watched this one and I must say, that even though Netflix rarely disappoints in their movie making skills, this one is horrific.
No scares, a bad attempt to tell a story and Leatherface has completely lost his fright. And. Unless he has learned how to throw a mean curveball (or -head) there's no way he threw that head into the bus.
So many things in this film was disappointing and we are huge horror and Chainsaw fans. This is more like a parody than a worthy sequel.
And seriously. The last girl standing is driving away in an electric car on autopilot while screaming.
Points for trying but this is like one of those cakes that looks like it's gonna taste amazing but they forgot to put in the flavour and it's dry. I'm just glad we didn't pay to see it in a theatre.
Cruella (2021)
Love it!
I love how Disney makes these stories for us to understand the villains. Cruella aims for the heart and it's definitely a bullseye for us. Watched it with teenage daughter and my husband and we loved how Cruella's story was told. Adding a whole new villain to the pot was genius and the ending after the ending was one of my favorite parts. This calls for a sequel.
Kastanjemanden (2021)
It was definitely not the butler that did it
Most of the time, guessing who did it is fairly easy but not this time.
Even though we found ourselves correcting the detectives for lack of backup a few times, this is genius.
The story told is important and the execution is nothing short of brilliant.
On the matter on "who did it" we were totally off and for once very surprised. Really didn't see it coming.
I really hope they make a season two.
Old (2021)
It's a short story made long
For the better part of this movie I was quite bored.
Yes, it has a great twist and the actors are doing their best to make it interesting but if you expect a thrilling horror movie, don't.
They kinda took all the interesting parts and put it in the trailer. Even my 13 year old daughter was bored.
Sweet Tooth (2021)
Definitely worth a watch
This story is so perfectly told. It's like a really good book, you can't put down.
I could type down all the reasons why you should give this a watch but just hit play and see for yourself.
Boss Level (2020)
Loved the movie ...
Absolutely love this movie.
It's not that the plot is brand new, it's the way it has been put together and the actors.
Storytelling and video games, what's not to like?
The ending is a whole other thing though.
Unless they make a sequel, I will continue to be a bit disappointed.
Retfærdighedens ryttere (2020)
Most definitely worth seeing!
This film is both serious, funny as hell and insanely well produced.
You feel with these guys and laugh at their lack of social skills, while rooting for them as they go rogue and break the law in so many ways.
I haven't seen this for the last time.
