I was so looking forward to seeing this latest Bond creation that I paid $20.00 bucks to watch it at home on our 70" screen. The opening was a typical, enjoyable Bond beginning. But somewhere along the way I was introduced to a black, female 007 and could not get it out of my mind
that the 'woke' society has invaded and infiltrated my beloved Jame Bond
fantasy hero. How sacrilegious for MI6, the epitome of special agents that
can face danger and overcome a myriad of encounters that would reduce mere layman to tears and nightmares at night.
The explanation was "you were gone so long without hearing from you we assumed you were dead". Later on we lose Felix, Bonds' most respected USA agent counterpart. I don't know, then Bond successfully removes the obstacles so the missiles can effectively drop their destruction on the rogue threat to world peace. And somewhere along the way they get reset to close??? That rascally villain gets in the way again, so throwing caution to the wind our hero goes back to a certain death to save the world. Give me a break. That is not the James Bond I've been watching since the beginning of time.
And like another contributor noted, I couldn't figure out what they were growing in the water either. Didn't look ominous or frightening, just looked like Nothing to me. Yes it was thrilling to see the Astin Martin in action again and whoever performed on the motorcycle was doing more than most humans are possible to achieve. All in all the movie just didn't fill my sails to get me where I wanted to go. Sad.
