Australian Survivor: Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Russian (2024)
Sociopaths in Australia
I quit watching USA survivor because of all the sociopathic people, now Valeria a Russian import to the show wears the Dodgers jacket, to be manipulative. The old lady has that jacket to sleep at night, Valeria wears it out into the rain. Australian survivor was fun to watch, with its happy people cheering on each other in the game, because it is just a game. But the Russian is evil , never trust a Russian, they are all evil. Just read their children books about. "Saint Olga"
Valeria is evil, and I am done watching this series.
And we know she will win, AU survivor always gives away the winner in the beginning of the series.
Poker Face (2023)
Columbo 2.0
Peter Falk would be proud. The stories , the almost sure outcomes but never exactly how outcomes will arrive there!
The thing that impressed me most is the rewatchability factor, these could be on a two month loop and I would gladly rewatch them .
The added factor of the long story with the casino mob boss? Not sure how that will play out , but I'll wait.
Yes Columbo 2.0 is a good reference point, I imagine the story will eventually evolve, I imagine there will even be a stupid episode, but I am ready.
If like Columbo, if they could bring in cameos of actors from 30 years ago , I would be so pleased.
Would I Lie to You? (2022)
Okay good job
It's hard to improve on the original.
And I love the original UK version, but yes this version has hit the ground running.
I look forward to seeing more.
Would I Lie to You? (2022)
Ok the AU version is powering up
At first it was slow (so were the first two seasons of the UK original) but they have their footing now and are good to go.
So glad for more good comedy.
Hopefully the USA version can match up.
Would I Lie to You?: Episode #1.4 (2022)
Ok, now this show has gotten great
I wanted to like the AU version, but I wasn't sure. But this episode it where the show has gotten it own feet and it is great . I so enjoyed this episode.
I look forward to more now.
The Americans (2013)
One more episode please, a two hour movie?
With a little bit of business knowledge, and in the political favor of the current Russians government. These two could be the Oligarchs of tomorrow.
Young Sheldon: The Wild and Woolly World of Nonlinear Dynamics (2021)
Good episode, but if the foreshadowing occurs, I will never watch a Chuck Lorre again.
No spoilers here, but if the ending is for telling what's to come , I am done.
My Octopus Teacher (2020)
Says more about the human, a film about the human.
Human befriends octopus . And the human shows how uncaring humans are.
Psychologist studies the narcissistic use of film to profit from the death of a friend.
This is a film about the human.
The octopus was the tricked.
The Map of Tiny Perfect Things (2021)
I cheered for the soccer goal.
Everyone has their perfect movie.
Everyone has their own personality.
Movies are a great personality test, name your three favorite movies, that you could watch on constant loop.
Mine are Casablanca, Beetlejuice , Groundhog Day, and now this film.
Movies see deep into your soul, everyone is different, everyone grew up in a different decade.
But some movies are immortal, like Princess Bride.
Take the MPPT (movie personality profile test) , name your three movies, live your life.
This movie 'TMOTPT' , I highly recommend.
The Birds (1963)
The Perfume, Hitchcock should have named this THE PERFUME.
Once you realize all the bird attacks are due to Miss Daniels (Tippi Hedren) signature perfume, at the Davidson's Pet Shop where she gets pecked on the hand, the motor boat on the bay, Dan Fawcett the chicken farmer in front of the General store picking up tippi's dropped handkerchief because it smelled pretty, to the birthday party, to the school yard, the Tides restaurant, the Hayworth house, the Brenner house, all due to the signature perfume that drives birds into a killing rage. The Bodega Bay tragedy occurred because of a wealthy persons signature perfume, Once you know that, this is a truly hilarious film.
SARS-29 (2020)
Good Dialogue and inspiring use of B-Roll
Yes , it is low budget. But good dialogue, every one had a unique voice. The actors were all good. But yes , it was low budget.
The versions of stories were all believable. I was personally fascinated by the use of interspliced B-Roll.
Hope to see more.
Star Trek: Discovery: Su'Kal (2020)
Next episode is season 4, haha I am done with season 3
It's okay to be outsmarted, but it's not okay to be dumb.
Court martial all these officers, promote the cast of characters from 'Lower Decks' .
And please return Star Trek to its level of intelligence, we expect.
I liked season one and two , but season 3 is ,,,,, dead to me . See you in 2021 October.
Okay bye now, 🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖

War of the Worlds (2019)
My fault, I watched this stupid thing.
Season one is all questions, no answers . But if you like SOAP OPERA, then this is for you .
If there were no aliens, then could be any old fashion soap opera, lots of lies, cheating hearts, stupid people.
Silly silly me , but thank goodness for hone fast forward button. So no season two for me. I know how the book ends. And I'll go with that solution.
Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary (2019)
This was a wonderful experience
But the story and the TRULY PROFOUND reminiscing of the cast ,,,,, was a moving experience.
Yes It was a documentary but now I respect the original movie even more.
Thank you for making this.
😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
White Christmas (1954)
Yes I am a simple simple man
Yes I am a simple simple man, but it's not christmas with out this movie.
The dialogue is smart, the situations are convenient, but so masterly done with Irving Berlins songs, and movie stars from the golden age in Hollywood it is great.
And when Phil Davis and Judy Haynes dance its part of American cinema iconography.
