Hide Away (2011)

A very watchable movie

Really enjoyed this movie. It was well acted, a good story, and very interesting watching Josh Lucas slowly resurrect the old dilapidated boat that he bought. Don't really understand the poor rating, but then I say that all the time.

Awesome version of a classic! Costumes, scenery, acting, all phenomenal. Very good production. Definitely the best version of Oliver Twist out there. Wish the same crew would make a version of all the Charles Dickens classics!

Compared to the BBC version this is a complete snooze fest. If you didn't know the story to begin with you would be totally confused about what is going on. The costumes and scenery are gorgeous but that's where the accolades end!

I agree with the other reviewers who wondered about the low ratings. This was an all-round good movie; part suspense, part thriller, and part horror. We both really enjoyed it!

I gave this movie a seven because it actually wasn't a bad movie at all. It would never win any Oscars, but it held my interest for the entire time. I have watched many movies with much higher reviews than this, that were much, much worse; many of them I couldn't even get through!

We loved this movie until about 3/4 of the way through when it all fell apart. It was well acted, well directed and the photography was awesome. But 3/4 of the way through the story became so bizarre that we had no idea what the heck was happening anymore. I defy anybody to explain what did happen!
