Home Movies (1999)
Perhaps the best show on television right now
I didn't catch this show when it aired on UPN (after a disappointing five episodes). I am currently catching it every Thursday and Sunday night on Cartoon Network from 10 - 11 PM. It has to be the best show on television right now, seriously.
No other show has such great voice work. It's amazing. The dialog is also great. The characters are great. The stories that the show has is great. This is a show with a lasting humourus quality like "The Simpsons," and a lot of heart.
You don't know how glad I was to find out that Cartoon Network also ordered up a second season of Home Movies. And it will all be done in a different animation style! Cool! God, how I love this show...
Virtual Encounters 2 (1998)
i really enjoyed the film.
This film is really, really full of sex. Hot sex. I watched it (of course) on Cinemax; and I liked it of course; those virtual fantasies are played out so much in great style, and I kind of enjoyed the story line. But one must know that when a soft porn film director sets out to make another soft porn film; all he/she wants to do is film good sex scenes. And I got nice sex scenes, full of skin. Yet another reason some people call soft porn Cinemax films "Skinemax."
Passion and Romance: Same Tale, Next Year (1997)
moderate cinemax movie
This film, is, of course, not exactly that good for plot.
As if all late night Cinemax fare really is; but the point is that there is nice scenes of sex. Great late night Cinemax film; and kind of popular none the less -- it is on quite a lot during the night throughout the year on Cinemax. Pretty good soft porn.
The Exotic House of Wax (1997)
I remember this. Hmm, bad memories.
I remember staying up late, very late to watch this.
Oh man, I was so deeply disappointed. The sex scenes are worthless. The plot is even more so. The acting is the pitts. There are some nice bodies, I guess. But come on! First of all, the wax idea? Didn't work very well. The sex scenes are horrible -- they are in incredible slow motion, and it looks as if no excitement comes out of it.
What an incredible waste of film...
