The Bequeathed (2024)

Yet another unsatisfying Yeon Sang Ho creation

Another web series written by Yeon Sang Ho. After binge watching the six episodes. I do think that Yeon Sang Ho needs to rediscover his spark while he is doing Train to Busan. It seems that he lose something that was not always present on his previous projects which were Hellbound, Jung E and this current project The Bequeathed. Honestly the plot and story was there, Great actors and all , but watching the series till the end was screaming THAT'S IT? I really hate to invest on a series that I expected to be great cause the material was really there but the execution was a let down. To be fair , the cinematic and sounds were all well executed but then it just not what i expected.

Is it worth watching? In my own opinion Yes, if you're a person who likes mystery and novel like psychological thriller series. But if you're not into slow pace thriller just go to the next kdrama.

Pain Hustlers (2023)

Surprisingly, I enjoyed the movie

Performances of the main leads (Emily Blunt and Chris Evans) were good , their chemistry was okay. Story line was also okay. Though I do get why some people would give this movie a bad ratings. However in my own opinion, I found the movie to be interesting since it was base on real life story and a good reflection on people's never-ending desires for success.

If you ask me if it's worthy to watch or not, I'd say it is. We all have various standards about what a good movie should be like, therefore I'd suggest "give it a try". If you've read terrible reviews don't mind it ,that doesn't accurately reflect the entire movie.

Give it a try ! Don't listen to the negative reviews

At first I was hesitant to watch it because of the negative comments about the series. But I still tried to watch and I didn't regret it.

New and Strange concept if you'll compare it to other tv series that have been produced by Netflix. After finishing the 6 episodes, You will have questions that are not answered and you'll really want to know what's next and have a season 2.

CG is not that good but the actors' good portrayals were enough. Kudos to the actress who plays as the lawyer. I must say, that the action scenes were shockingly good for a woman in a korean series , cause doing action genre in Korea are rarely portrayed by an actress.
