Dissapointing

When I read the plot of this movie, I got really excited, it had great potential to become a cult classic crime movie, like the departed, and it has also a great cast! I thought to myself "This is going to be great" When I watched the movie I did not enjoy it at all... Yes, it has very tense and funny moments, but, it is very obvious that this is just another piece of leftist propaganda sold to us as a movie. I wouldn't mind it if this was a good movie but it just isn't. For a movie about infiltrated cops it lacks of too much action and tension.

What's the message of this film? You will never guess it! "Racism bad" That's the message, pretty original huh? I bet you never saw something like that in a movie before.

Spike, this is the year 2018, the left has more power than ever. We all know that racism is bad.

Time Share (2018)

Slow, confusing, but an involving, interesing experience

When you start watching this movie, you may feel that things aren't adding up, and that's okay because it's adding suspense until everything gets explained the last 30 minutes of the film.

The music, cinematography and colors work very well toghether, creating a misterious ambience and a sense of hostility, and it keeps you hooked.

Forever Rich (2021)

Surprisingly good.

This movie has a nice script and acting. Depicts very well the social pressure from social media to famous people, and how fame is a serious topic, sometimes even dangerous. The story itself, is very chaotic and original. I really liked it and I recommend it.

Matando Cabos 2, La Máscara del Máscara (2021)

This is not good

While the characters in the first movie were interesing and funny, in this one they're just ridiculous. The script is not even as half as good as the first movie. This is full of cringy moments and cliches that I couldn't take anything seriously or feel sympathy for any of the characters. This is not good.

The only things I liked about it were a couple of very clever jokes, and that little Oldboy reference.

Nicotina (2003)

This movie feels very similar to Matando Cabos, but this one is just weirder and not that funny. It's entertaining, that's for sure, but sometimes it feels lame, I don't know if it's because of the acting, the music or the cinematography, maybe all three, but I don't have enough cinema knowledge to explain it wisely.

Anyways, this movie is a very pleasant experience, but don't watch it if you're expecting to see a masterpiece.

Killing Cabos (2004)

Better dark comedy thriller about kidnapping than Fargo

The script is just pure Mexican genius. Entertaining from start to end. Very well written characters too. This is the best movie I've seen in a long time. If you don't watch this just because of subtitles, you're missing a gem.

Somethimes I think to myself that if americans have done this movie instead, it would have gained way more attention worldwide, because this movie deserves it, but sadly, it's not very known.

Sweet Virginia (2017)

The two biggest problems about this film is script and pace The script lacks of depht and doesn't make sense sometimes, and the pace is just too slow, even for a movie like this. Not very good.

I think this is a very sad movie, I don't mean it's tragic and makes the viewer cry, but I think it's a sad movie because you can appreciate the effort in the script and directon but it just doesn't work. They really tried and that's evident but good intentions are not enough to make a good movie.

Bullet Head (2017)

Second best dog film

This is the best dog film after Amores perros. It's fun, original and entertaining. The cast did a great job but the story feels stupid from time to time.

It's okay if you didn't like the acting or the plot itself, I respect that, but how can you say it has "Bad science" that's even more stupid that the movie itself.

When star wars came out, I didn't hear anyone saying "UHhH lAzEr GUnS aRE UnReaLisTIc, ThIS Is BaD SCIeNce" No, because it's just a movie. It's entertainment. It's not meant to be taken seriously. Want good science? Go watch a documentary, go to some chemistry classes, maybe watch Breaking Bad. Some of y'all people really need to chill out a little.

This is pure torture. My eyes hurt, my ears bleed, I have a headache and I was only 30 minutes into the film. I felt like an idiot for 30 minutes while watching this.

I get the meaningful thing about this is "Seeing the world from another perspective", as the title says "Life out of balance" but I just can't imagine someone watching this and having fun. I don't get the point of making a movie like this but as always, people wanna seem intelectual and find things like these "Deep" and "Meaningful". Does this means that I can film my dog taking a dump, put it backwards and it will suddenly make it a masterpiece?

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Pretentious artwork that cured my insomnia

Maybe this would have been more interesting and innovative in 1968 but it's currently 2021 at the time I'm reviewing this film. Let's begin.

The only good moments about the film are the monkey segment and the HAL segment. Why? Because those are the only moments that FEELS like an actual film, Is it too much to ask for a little story development? Maybe some meaningful dialogue? Because I gotta be honest, space machines moving around does not tell me anything about the story, it justs makes me wanna turn off the T. V and go to sleep. I don't really want to talk about the ending tho, you can just put a weird, confusing ending to any movie and people will start making theories out of nowhere and try to explain it with pylosophical terms and stuff.

The Company Men (2010)

Kinda bad and boring

First of all, it has barely nothing to do with 2008 economic crisis, and also I didn't get the connection between the events of the story, what I understood was: People get fired from their jobs, then they go to a barbeque, then the look for more job, they play golf & football, a guy builds a house and a another guy kills himself but nobody seemed to care about it, finally the guy gets a new job again and the movie ends. Quite a dissapointing experience, I was not expecting to see something very exciting but I also wasn't expecting such a boring film.

The Suicide Squad (2021)

Nice

This is by far, the best movie of the DCEU, it doesn't have 1 boring second, all the characters are interesting in their own way, with weird, bizarre superpowers that make the movie feel unique in it's genre. All the actors did a great job. Definitely a must see, it's not like other superhero movies.

Nolan's masterpiece

I really wanted to like this movie. Dennis is one of my favorite directors, but this is just not good, I wouldn't say bad, it's just not good. It stops being entertaining very quickly.

The Punisher (2017–2019)

Even better than Daredevil

The plot is just brilliant, it's not common to see millitary conspiracies shows on T. V but the punisher did a great job at it. Every character is unique, with deep personalities and reasons to do what they do. The action in this show is brutal and exciting, but the show exagerates everything so it doesn't make the viewer feel sick, because I cannot imagine how unbearable this show could be if it was a little more realistic. The only complain I have is Jigsaw's face in season 2, he needed to be more ugly, with more scars.

Daredevil (2015–2018)

Doesn't dissappoint

This is a very nice show. Action and tension scenes are very well achieved and it also has great written characters, but the plot is not exciting.

Utopia (I) (2013–2014)

One of the best TV shows of all time

The script is a masterpiece, everything has a justification that are even connected with real life events. The charachters are very well written, because they aren't heroes nor villains, it's just regular people that got involved in a deadly government conspiracy and it adds so much realism to it. The soundtrack by Cristobal Tapida de Veer is one of the most original soundtracks I've ever heard, made with many interesting and weird sounds but mantaining the hostile, mysterious theme of the show. The violence scenes are unexpected and shocking wich again helps the realism.

Willy's Wonderland (2021)

If you watched the trailers, then you know exactly what I am talking about. This is not a movie that requires a good story, acting, plot twists or a deep narrative. It is just cheap entertainment, it's a garbage movie but it's a fun movie, just like the sharknado similar ones. So if you're the typical guy that only sees good quality cinema like fight club, clockwork orange and pulp fiction, this is definetly not your movie, but if you're looking for quick, brainless entertainment, you're going to love this.

Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Tarantino's best movie

I don't know what to right here becauase i'm not really a movie reviewer but this movie is really good, you should watch it, don't let the trailers lie to you, this is not an action movie, this is a movie where the dialogues are the principal character but it's worth the watch and very entertaining.
