Muzzle (2023)

Excellent Cop / K-9 thriller.

Ignore the bad reviews. This is a very good movie with good acting. Aaron Eckhart plays the role perfectly. It shows the horrible conditions in Los Angeles and the vast homeless and drug use.

This is definitely one of the best K-9 / military dog movies out there. It shows how dangerous their job is and how good they are at it, especially with the fetanayl crisis that China is importing into the USA now.

This is just a straight-forward movie, without all of the nonsense hollywood is trying to feed down our throats nowadays. There have been few movies this year better than this one. I highly recommend.

Runner Runner (2013)

Solid

This is a solid movie with good acting, great setting, good camera-work, dialogue and suspense. I have no idea why this would be rated so low. A couple parts could have been expanded upon to give us a little more detail of what actually occurred, but it isn't really needed. You know that it happens in a very corrupt place where everyone is bought, so you can make your own conclusions. The ending was a complete surprise and a good one. I like the run-time. It keeps it constantly moving at a quick pace.

At no time during this movie was I bored. It was paced well with enough violence to make it real, but not over-the-top stupid like "Casino". This isn't a mob movie. It is a movie about 2 people with a business relationship, power and corruption. One is a boss and one is an employee. I would definitely recommend watching this movie. I guess the bad reviews were from people expecting a mob movie, which I always find boring.

I watch movies to be entertained and this one achieved that goal.

28 Days (2000)

Nonsense movie about getting sober

This is a movie about getting clean and sober. It is not a comedy. Nothing in this movie is realistic about getting clean or sober. It is sad that some Hollywood writer who obviously knows nothing about sobriety would write this. I found this movie frustrating and untrue.

The Lost Daughter (2021)

SLOWWWW and BORING

Definitely not worth 2 hours of anyone's life. This movie is beyond horrible. Pointless, slow and very boring. I do not see what all the great reviews are about for Maggie Gyllenhaal. She should never be allowed to direct a movie ever again. Ed Harris was OK in his small role. That is the only reason I gave it 2 stars.
