One of the best kdrama out there
Looking for a great plot? Want to watch something fantasy related? Go for this show because it's a masterpiece. The story of this grim reaper is heartbreakingly beautiful. I was able to figure out 2 villains & I thought what's the point it will ruin the show for me. But no. They somehow made it interesting even more because of the way they portrayed it. Moreover its filled with a lot of villains. This show will give you twist after twist and will keep you intrigued till the end. A bittersweet ending is what is going to be. I didn't like it. Nobody will because it will make you cry. But I salute the makers for going for such a bold ending. It was sad yet beautiful. The drawbacks I will say is that the plot is too complex sometimes. It was hard for me to keep up with the Korean names since they are too long. You will have to pay attention to each and every dialog that is being delivered. But that is beautiful in itself. I have never watched a show where all the cases shown are given equal importance, all the dialogs are relevant and are all connected in some way or another. So yes give this a try. It's worth it. The ending is going to stay with you. The show is going to make you laugh & will keep you interested. Despite the fact that it has such less romantic scenes the couple stands out and the actor was fabulous. Worth your time. I would say.

Perfect cliche
I have heard a lot about this drama. Hence, I wanted to watch this one. Considering the fact that it's a really old drmaa. I have rated this. If you want to watch a Cinderella story. It's for you. The only difference is there is love square for you here. The prince is in love with his x and the princess is loved by the cousin in law.
Flaws of this drama is that it drags a lot. Very slow. Thankfully, I was bored. So I just fast forwarded the scenes and could bear though it. Unlike others, I didn't like the traditional costumes. And the traditional names were a pain. I didn't like the palace as well. But despite it all the drama was able to engross me in. That's why I gave it 8 stars. For a few hours I was able to go into a princess story and for some reason I didn't put it down. There was no real villian in this story. Everyone was just trying to get what they want to overcome their pain. I would say if you have a lot of time to waste and want to watch a fairytale go for this.
On a personal note. I preferred Yu Gul over the male lead. I felt he was more genuine and did everything he could for her. I have no hatred for the male lead though. After some time you get used to him. So yeah. It's not for everyone. Particularly after such a long time. But if you have time to kill and want a fairytale to look forward to this one is for you.

Underrated/ intriguing
Damn it. I love it. Usually I am not a person to love action. But I loved the action in this drama . This is an action + politics series. I should have watched it before. One advice. Don't read the description. It will ruin the series for you. Instead go clueless.
I will provide you a tiny synopsis. A fugitive on the run & a presidential candidate's daughter cross paths in this political drama. This should be enough. I guess for you to know. You can expect a really good cast. The lead actor will win you over with his skills.
Flaws in this drama. The lead actress didn't have any character development that really disappointed me. Second, at times the politics is stretched. In my case, I just fast forwarded it. You can do the same. So you can say it's worth watching. Also, they really did a great job in hiding one villian. But what happened to that character. That was left unanswered.
Lastly, though I loved the ending. I would have preferred it if as the politicians in the conference has predicted has happened and she didn't have pressed that button. Those who have watched the drama knows it. It would have made it open for a part 2. Anyway I loved. It was an intriguing political drama inspired from snow white. Go for it if you are in a mood to watch something that will grab your attention.

Beautiful story
What a beautiful story. That was my last thought after watching this show. I saw a review on IMDb that it was one of the best kdramas. I became intrigued and watched the show. Honestly, it didn't disappoint me. The basic storyline is about a rich heiress who is like a sleeping beauty and a doctor who tries to rescue her from her enemies. All I can say that it's a worth watch. There are many trashy shows out there, all of them have the same basis plot. In the name of rom com you don't find unique shows. This one is different for a change. It has action, it has drama, it has romance & enough amount of suspense. The couple despite having less screen time together steals the show. What is different is that both the male lead and the female lead have their own stories. They are a character in themselves. They are totally opposite from each other when it comes to their values. They are people who love each other but are obviously belonging to different worlds. That makes this storyline special. At first I found the lead actress boring. Just someone who is beautiful but if you stick around you will find that she is the best character in the show. I think this show gives you two endings. If you want a really good ending you will stop at episode 16. If you want a satisfying ending and are curious to know more like me you will stick around till episode 18. Of course it has it's flaws but if I mention it you will remember it and will interfere with your enjoyment . But it's nothing major. It looks a bit old but was worth my time. The conversations between the side characters was also good. I say give it a try. You might not rate it 10 stars but you definitely won't rate it less than 8 stars or 7 stars. I feel this show is underrated. If you like the storyline you should go for it.

Frustrating
A rich hot tempered man decides to do something good before he dies and thus tries to help a women to solve the mystery of her sister's death which happened while he was at the scene. In the process he falls in love with her. This is the essence of the story.
Cast: The male lead slayed his role. The antagonist were good. While the female lead will disappoint you. She remains an expressionless women.
What went wrong?
Plot: what went wrong is the plot. It was just one murder and we all know who is the murderer. That takes away the interest after the first few episodes. The show starts with a bang and then drags this murder into an unbelievable extent. It was only the male lead who was holding the show together. Just as I started liking the show. I read somewhere that the male lead is going to exit and I saw a slight trailer which showed that the female lead is going to take revenge on him and he is going to die saving her. While she remains a thankless women! What a horrible plot! So after the lead character's death the show still continues and this ends into even a major disappointment. I couldn't stay to complete the show. Why? Because this show didn't do justice to the male lead. The reason for his death becomes even more pitiful because it is a one sided love.
However I would say that this show did have it's good moments. The message that we can all choose how to utilise the time we have is the most beautiful and useful message ever given by a Tv show. It was for this message and the brilliant acting of the antagonist and the male lead that I rated it 5 stars. Otherwise I would have given it 0 or even 2 stars maximum.
As you can see I didn't like it because it was frustrating . After watching for some time I just wanted a closure but they dragged it. Even then I would say if you want to watch it you go watch it. Our perspectives can differ. Who knows you may even love this.

Feel sad drama
A terminally ill patient desperate to provide a better life for her daughter enters into a contract marriage with her employer who later falls in love with her. This is the essence of the story. It has heartbreakingly beautiful romance and focuses on two things. One the mother's love for her child and secondly, the true meaning of love.
There is nothing special about the marriage contract theme that you see in kdramas or other books. But this one is different. What stands out in this drama is the amazing cast. Even the little girl was really good at her acting. And the layers in the plot. Like it will provide you an actual reasons for entering into marriage contract. If in reality someone enters into a marriage contract this will actually be the scenario. You will get a vibe like that. It's a slow burn. However this show has it's own flaws. Like a predictable plot and sometimes you will feel that it's a bit of a drag. So I will suggest you if you are ready for a slow drama that is good you can go for this. Why fee sad? Because throughout the show you will get this vibe. The more the episode progress more you will connect with the charecters & more you will feel bad for them. I agree that there is nothing striking about the male lead's looks but you will fall in love with his acting. The personality of the character will stand out. Give this a try. This show won't disappoint you.

A feel good drama
Honestly, if you want to watch a drama that isn't complex or without much conflict. This is a show you can go for. It's a medical drama without much focus on the medical aspect. You can call it a rom com. This show isn't serious at all though it will seem like it. In order to watch this drama you need to throw logic out of your mind and must be ready for cliches. In short, it's a feel good drama. There are days when you just want to watch a show that isn't serious at all but doesn't have a terrible plot. You can say that it's a show for those days. If you are having a day like that like I had you can go for this. Otherwise don't. You will be disappointed. The cast was okay and so did the plot. For a lazy day this show didn't disappoint me.

Beautiful tragedy (underrated)
It's the story of a crown prince who falls in love with a women who his best friend is also in love with. What you will love about the show is the acting particularly of the crown prince. It's the cast that stands out in this series. The plot is filled with twists and turns so it will keep you hooked till the end. But what makes this show memorable is the love and friendship between the 3 characters. Unlike other shows where you cannot understand the perspectives of the leads. Here, it helps you understand the reasons of the 3 people. Kind of you will go into their perspectives. So you will not have the usual second lead syndrome because you will love both the male leads and want both of the leads to end up with the same women
So why this show is underrated? Because it will break your heart. Those who watched the show will agree that it's a tragedy.
Another thing is that the friendship between the 3 main characters is so good that it will undermine the romance. Don't worry romance is the there. But you will not feel that spark between the chosen leads. If you come to prefer the second lead. And most of us do.
Lastly, I would say if you love moon lovers you will love this show. It's completely different but it will give you the same feelings. Since I had watched that tragedy I have realised that my heart is made of glass. I couldn't finish it after reading the reviews that spolied the ending. Thankfully they spoiled it otherwise I would have ended up with a wonded heart too.
So should you watch it? Definitely if you can handle tragic endings. Because it is worth it. Also, no other show you have watched intrests you & you wre bored. You can watch this because it will pull your interest back into kdramas. In the end, I would say it's a story of 3 people who cared for each other. If you like such stories you can go for it.

Not everyone's cup of tea.
This show was slow. Just their romance not everything else. I mean they would show every pause the actors take and that was annoying as hell. I expected a lot from this drama but it was a disappointment. Why? Because the women didn't show any emotion even when she was with the guy. This was just the opposite of a cold male CEO. In this case it's the women. Their romance was dull boring. And the first encounter was not at all realistic. I don't know what it was I tired really hard to like it but I couldn't. All I can say is that it's not everyone's cup of tea.
However, there are two reasons why you should watch the show.
1. The lead actor's smile. Seriously his smile is drool worthy because it made the show. It was the only thing I looked forward to. His character's personality was also good.
2. Landscapes. The first few episodes we're set in cuba and had shown beautiful landscapes. Places you would like to escape to.
Other than this. I didn't like the show that much. Please note. I just watched around 5 episodes. I couldn't bring myself to complete the series because I am very picky and I like good plots.
Shopingwang Looi (2016)
A simple yet beautiful romantic comedy about a shopaholic rich guy who suddenly becomes poor after losing his memory.
Honestly, I didn't want to watch this show. I watched it because I was bored. I didn't expect anything good but this show surprised me. It was a beautiful yet simple love story. What makes this show special is that the main lead is not an arrogant, emotionless boss. He cries when he wants to, he laughs when he wants to and says the perfect things when he wants to. He opens up his heart in the show. The main lead was the best part of the show & the actress wasn't bad either. She complimented the male lead. Another thing was that the unique concept of shopaholic added humor and made this show worthwhile. What is different about this from the rest of the rom-com is that they both go through difficult times and it's the female lead that pulls up the hero & the hero isn't a jerk. Of course, it had its flaws. Towards the end, they forget that the title was about the shopaholic man & doesn't much talk about it. It becomes very much predictable. Yet I can say I didn't want it to end. So if you want to watch a simple yet good romcom that is diffrent from the rest. This show is the one to go for.I loved it. Louis was a memorable character & so was mr cha.

Intriguing. Will keep you on the edge till the end.
Never expected watching something so good. Honestly the most gripping tale I have ever seen. It kept me on the edge from the beginning to the end. Like how? I usually get bored after some time. Let's just say till episode 19 it was perfect & in episode 20 you will know how everything turns out. What surprised me is that there was nothing special about the couple. A contract marriage is something you expect but the struggles they had to go through will make you love them on the screen. The plot was on point. It was obvious to me who will die . What I didn't know wae how they will die. Nevertheless, it was an awesome show. You should watch it because..
1. It's a gripping tale.
2. It will not make you feel bored for a second.
3. Not a drag
4. Plot is on point
5. Really good villian . You can hate him to your heart's content
6. Good chemistry between the couple
7. Really good actors. Particularly the female lead, the antagonist and the male lead. The other actress was good but her role not surprising because she has played similar roles.
In short you will enjoy it. I am hoping to find more shows like this one. I loved it.
My personal opinion : The villain was the best in this story. Though I hate his character I have to say without him the show wouldn't be this good.
The King: Youngwonui Gunjoo (2020)
A beautiful story
When it comes to fantasy romance this show kills it. You are up for a rollercoaster ride if you choose to watch it. There are hardly any shows that are good like this one in this genre. It's fantasy, cast and plot was all on point . It will give you a beautiful ending to a beautiful love story. However, it has it's own drawbacks because it's a little like inception , a little confusing at times with the double roles & stuff. It also does not address as to why the female lead fell for the lead actor. There was no particular reason given apart from the fact that he turned out to be an actual king. Also, I failed to feel that spark that I usually find in romantic series. Nevertheless, I would say it's worth every bit of praise it receives. Because this show is worth it. You won't regret watching it. I loved it. The flaws I found you wouldn't have even noticed if you didn't read this review. I loved the show. I hope you love it too.
Half of a half (2020)
A show about overcoming grief, unrequited love and finding out what's best for you
Let's just say it's not a story for everyone. I get why some people hate it while some love it. My opinion in rather in the middle. So the thing is it is a slow series. I usually don't like this type of series but this one grabbed my attention. Why? First of all it had beautiful landscape settings and secondly the cast particularly the male and female lead. They really did their jobs well. I feel it was the male lead who was the protagonist of this show. Anyway this show clearly explains the pain of unrequited love and how to overcome it. It also focuses on the grief part. Basically a show dedicated to overcoming grief. It also includes love triangles.
Now, what was disappointing about the show. Plot. They could have done so much better with the plot. The conflict at the near end (not the ending) doesn't really make sense and they dragged it. Let's just say a few episodes before the last one was a drag and boring and they could have shortened it. The meet between 2 leads were exaggerated to unbelievable extent. Nevertheless , the ending was the most beautiful ones I have known because k dramas never really gives you good endings. It's always just rushed up or heart wrenching but this show didn't feel like that. They gave a beautiful ending to a beautiful show. O yes, about the reason why it got low ratings because they should have realised all the episodes together . Not one by one because it was a slow drama. Not everyone has the patience to wait for a show day by day when it's a slow drama because then it will feel like a complete drag. I didn't feel like it in most of the parts apart from what I have mentioned (& some parts regarding the supporting charecters) because I binge watched it. Secondly, it is due to the plot. They could have made it more interesting and included several elements. There was nothing to look forward to you know. No particular villan. Forget villian you know how the show was going to end up . A complete predictable series. It became too depressing at some point. You hardly see the charecters laughing. Yet it was warm to watch, relaxing and leaves you with a smile. That's why I watched it. It's not for everyone. Watch 3 episodes ( since it gets a little confusing at the beginning & to get the feel of the show) and if you still don't like it. Leave it. I guess it's then not for you.
Shinibsagwan Goohaeryung (2019)
A beautiful story
A historical drama about a female historian who stands up for herself and falls in love with a prince who is practically a male Rapunzel. The story is good and is a perfect watch for a lazy day.
I watched this after watching" moon lovers" which is a very sad drama and this one helped me to recover from that. So yes if you want to watch something that is not too heavy yet intresting and historically based. This is the perfect drama for you.
The drama contains two important parts one that shows the importance of historians ( I realised after watching this show) and the romance between the prince and her. The romance is so sweet that you will fall in love with the prince. The way he loves her is truly amazing. It is also a drama where you won't see useless bothering charecters trying to ruin other people's love life, no unnecessary love triangle, no misunderstandings yet beautiful in it's own way. I loved the show and I hope you will love it too. The lead actors were amazing . Particularly the male lead . The lead actress could have brought in more emotions in her. Yet it all made sense. I am glad I watched it.
Alhambeura Goongjeonui Chooeok (2018)
Truly creative show
I don't understand why it has low rating on IMDB. yes they could have given it a better ending. They could have made it a lot a lot better. But it is also true it's a show of its own. It is gripping if not anything. It will keep you hooked till the end. Yes, they could have explored many parts . They could have given it a better ending but as much as it is true it is also true that I loved the show. I enjoyed every single episode. It gripped me till the end. It has a very creative and original plot that I loved it.Watch it if you are a fan of Sci fi dramas or W.
P.S I AM LOOKING FORWARD FOR A PART 2
