Damon's Revenge (2022)
Not the greatest but still good
I think many people were excited and drawn to this movie because of Michael Madsen but the plot is predictable and nearly everything in the movie was shown in the trailer. Yes there are "plot twists" but they weren't that surprising. It's an ok watch in my opinion. It's not the worst but it's not the best. I have to say though, the acting in this movie was amazing and was one of the only things that kept me watching even when I pretty much knew what was going to happen. Also the plot is very slow in the beginning and speeds up at the end which makes it seem kinda rushed.
Kill Plan (2021)
I liked it
Great effort making this. Lots of good things going on here. Chris Spinelli and Benny Tjandra fit into their roles perfectly and made this film come alive. Considering the budget this is one epic action film.
The Capture (2017)
Weekend type of movie
This script is next level. Interesting concept about captured souls and what happens to them after she appears. I don't watch to give away too much but it's an impressive indie film and worth your time. Watch with an open mind and you will enjoyed it.
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)
Good action
Fantastic movie. It's colorful and fun in many ways and it doesn't pretend to be something that it's not. Sure, some might say it gives you Kill Bill vibes with a mix of John Wick lore but who cares? It's Gunpowder Milkshake and it works. The characters are fleshed out enough that you do care about them, and I loved how each had their own personality that made them unique. Fantastic, over the top fight scenes that are enough to make this movie stand out by itself. Great camera work, settings, use of color, use of weaponry etc. This movie doesn't shy away from being a bit comical and that's absolutely okay because it owns that. Overall, dope movie and worth a watch.
The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
Epic
Absolutely astonishing piece of movie making, doesn't feel dragged at any point and the very essence of excess is maintained throughout the movie. At the bottom of it all, Scorsese tries to show a picture so unbelievable you can actually see it happening, and not for a moment does it feel like we've escaped the real world, just that we've pushed its boundaries of what is okay and acceptable. Various scenes that may seem pointless paint a picture of a lifestyle so hopeless we can't help but feel sad for everyone involved.
A Dark Foe (2020)
Entertaining
I barely write reviews, however, this is one I had to let out. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It has that take-no-prisoners neo noir genre touch which really made the film come alive. The lead actor really took charge from the start and acted his heart out along with the rest of the cast. There is a lot of violence and it gets deeper and deeper but it is definitely a flick to watch if you love this genre.
The Suicide Squad (2021)
Loved this
They did a great job making this. Ignore the haters! Thanks for making this.
See (2019)
What is this?
I'm sorry but I couldn't make it past the 1st episode. I felt it was over done and isn't my type of tv series.
