The Chosen is a refreshing new take on a story told a thousand times over. I say "refreshing" because it's a story about the life and Christ and His followers that is actually good and worthwhile to watch. It manages to take Biblical stories from the New Testament that have become so familiar and present them as if you're seeing them for the first time. Never has a Bible project been so relatable to its audience as it explore some of the plausible what-ifs of how life may have been like during that time, while managing to make it still applicable to today. It's filled with a lot of heart and even humor that is in good taste. I highly recommend this show to anyone, and I actually take time to ask people to watch it.

Unexpectedly Good

When I initially saw the trailers advertising that Tangled was becoming a cartoon, my immediate thought was that it would be a superfluous cash grab. I was surprised to find a show that, while aimed towards younger audiences, is actually rather entertaining with a pretty good story arc. It is a kids show, but it's a pretty good kids show with good animation and solid music

I like the humor presented in the show, and though this show is meant to entertain, with each season it manages to improve on the messages aimed to be applicable in the lives of some viewers.
As a cherry on top, I personally love all the references to some of Tim Allen's previous work
