Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
One of The Greatest Films Ever Made
ZSJL is an absolute masterpiece...This film is everything that a DC fan ever dreamed of . Visually stunning and narratively satisfying from start to finish, it is not just best DCEU film of all time but also one of the best superhero film of all time...Joss whedon should be burned alive for butchering this masterpiece and ruining Snyder's vision in 2017..But true fans loves Snyder's epic vision for DCEU that's why they called out for this film in after whedon's disaster..Zack snyder delivered a perfect superhero film here, filled with some of the best visuals ever seen in a movie, eye popping effects, stunning cinematography, eargasmic soundtrack by junkie XL and breathtaking action scenes ZSJL is everything you ever hoped for and even more then it looks initially.

An Affair to Remember (1957)
One of The Best Romances in History
As far as romance films go, this is the best. Cary is excellent in this role. So different than later films. In this one, he's vulnerable, awkward, embarrased, not constantly suave. His interaction with his grandmother are sweet. Deborah is, of course, beautiful...to put it mildly. And so many facial expressions. I like the way the director had no talking in scenes. Like the church/praying scene. He left it up to us to figure it out. Also, when they were docking and each was looking at their old flame. I loved the look she gave Cary's girl...slitty cat-like eyes! Perfect. When they first kissed, you never saw it ! They were coming down the stairs and she stopped and he went back up. All you saw was their legs and bodies leaving into each other. Terrific! One more thing: no smoking in the film Cary kept pulling out a cigarette but, only once did you see him smoke...when he's on the ship going back to France. In those days, it seems that smoking was prevalent in all the films. Lastly, the final scene. He goes to leave and I'm thinking, "No, he can't leave yet!" But, he turns around and talks about his painting. When he suspects the truth (again, leaving out the essential diaglogue...."she did not have much money and she.....") he goes into her back room, spots the painting (in the mirror only....terrific filming), and puts it all together in his mind. You can see the bitterness evaporate off of him. We replayed that scene three times. This was really good Cary Grant. Terrific movie....bring a box of kleenex!
Stacey Dooley Investigates (2009)

Cornwall with Simon Reeve (2020)
Revealing the True Beauty and Pain in Our Flawed World
Simon Reeve's special talent is to make the ordinary interesting. He's not interested in glamour. He doesn't stay in five star hotels. More often than not, he merges bleary eyes from a tent in the morning. He looks like the backpacker he probably once was. He is bloody good at his job, yet I wonder if the BBC would give someone like him a chance nowadays - white, male, middle class. So obsessed by celebrity have our broadcasters become, that these sort of shows would no doubt have to be fronted by Stacey Dooley or a Rapper anyone over the age of 18 no one has heard of. The BBC should remember that their job is about discovering and nurturing new talent like Simon Reeve, and I hope he continues to do what he does for many years to come.
