Latte Igel und der magische Wasserstein (2019)
Weird and terrible
You'll notice the reviews here rating this above 6 have the same weird broken English as the movie does at times. I don't know if this has something to do with the movie apparently being originally a German release. There are some bizarre and probably inappropriate phrases for kids. Wasn't particularly fond of the line, "sometimes a lie just feels right." I wondered if it was maybe an issue with a phrase that couldn't be directly translated, but I speak some German and I'm not familiar with any phrase or saying that would have to be translated this way.
There are just a lot of really weird and illogical phrases and conversations. Absolutely nonsensical at times. Weak, almost non-existent storyline. My four year old didn't like it, but forced us to watch it through to the end. If you read reviews before watching movies- avoid this movie. There are literally hundreds of better movies on all platforms.
Welcome to Happiness (2015)
Absolutely Awful
Basically unwatchable. The "film" attempts to be weird for weirdness' sake--and it is pathetically transparent and forced in these attempts. Anachronistic in parts for unknown reasons (or certainly not for cohesive/well-written reasons, I should say). Too many scenes which add absolutely nothing to the plot or contribute to any kind of story line- typically accompanied by forced unintelligible dialogue. Unnecessary and OVER-use of '70s era zoom-in/zoom-out shots.
It is not "artsy". It is not smart or creative. I would compare it to I Heart Huckabees, but somehow worse.
Tsunambee: The Wrath Cometh (2015)
Must Watch Disasterpiece
I love horrible movies. I've been binge watching them on Amazon. I've seen everything from Sharktopus Vs WHALEWOLF to I was a Teenage Wereskunk. Tsunambee is in a league of its own. While the previous movies are self-aware of their own campiness, Tsunambee is painfully unaware of it. Tsunambee is hands down the worst movie I have ever seen. It is now *the* movie I tell people they need to see and I truly believe it will stand the test of time. The original score and totally inane nonsensical POST-ending perfectly compliment the overall film. This disasterpiece was made possible by indiegogo so please continue to support your local art and artists because I genuinely love experiencing these train wrecks caught on film.
