Evil Dead Rise (2023)

A Gory, Intense, Return To The Evil Dead Universe

I went coming into this film with a-lot of expectations, since the Evil Dead originals films are a cult classic of mine. I will say that this film is a fresh, new take, on they cult classic. With great call backs, gore, well done character development, and a lot more blood then any film you've ever seen.

I was skeptical about having children in this film, beacuse the series is famous for its gore and terror it leaves on its victims. I found that the director Lee Corrin does not pull back on the gore that's inflicted on the children. In fact out of everyone in the cast the children are brutally terrorized in gory fashion.

There are a few let downs, that I won't name so as though I don't spoil the film. But certain things like makeup, gore for certain brutality death scenes weren't as gory as I hoped and felt fake, the last 30 minutes of the film are a let down of too much blood it's overwhelming and becomes less scary and more "goofy" or "unnecessary", even for a Evil Dead film.

Overall the film was fun, gory, terrifying, and met my Evil Dead gore expectations. I personally rated the film a 7/10 for its lack in certain scenes but was made up for its call backs, gore, writing, and story overall!

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

An Experience Like No Other

I came coming into this movie with a low expectation, but was found breathe taken, and speechless for days. Thinking, and dreaming, and experience life for what is was, and when I say this movie will change you. This movie represents love, grief, family, pain, heartache, and life all together in a unique and beautiful experience that's breath taking. The directors unique style can bring comedy, and true feelings of sadness and grief to the screen and make you able to connect to the characters and story. I've never EVER seen a. Movie quiet as breath taking as this one, I highly recommend this film, and I thank you to the creators of this for the experience it gave me.

Don't Worry Darling (I) (2022)

The Future Is Near...

Don't Worry Darling is a unexpected, thrilling, terrifying journey that will leave you shaken. This movie has a new take on a already used topic and changed it in a way that was unexpected. Throughout the entire movie it left you guessing, thinking, and was still entertaining despite it being a 2 hr movie. Florence Pugh and Harry Styles did some amazing acting and rlly lifted the film, and made it more believable. The soundtrack, and sound effects were well used and the tone overall of the film was so dark, yet joyful in a unsettling way. I highly recommend this film and I understand many people didn't enjoy it cause of its twisted confusing aspect. I don't agree with this remotely cause it's nothing you will expect.

Smile (V) (2022)

A New Take On A Already Used Topic

We've seen multiple movies like "Smile" to debut. Smile doesn't have a lot for it to stand out but with its twists and turns and subtle and large scares it makes it stand out from this specific genre of horror.

Sosie Backn who plays (Ross Cotter) delivered a great performance and utterly thrilling psychedelic experience. She really went over the top with they acting and made a chilling experience for the viewer.

Although they score and camera work could've been better, some scenes felt off putting or confusing. The practical and digital aspects stood out to make a more unique aspect to horror that does not get used. But with all these special aspects it's still a underrated genre that hasn't been fulfilled by the horrifying topic of self hate, trauma, and battling your demons. As far as of now this film is by far the most well done project out of the genre. I will wait til this topic is reborn in a cleaner and smarter way.

A Special Charm

This movie has a special charm about it that made it stand out, it's not a big budget action like most films now a days, or have multiple CGI and special effects, it's just a good Indie Movie about a bunch of old high school graduates. It tells a good story but is not overwhelming, you enjoy the characters time on screen and it's a feel good movie. It has a great soundtrack, and multiple award winning actors. I highly recommend this film, there's something special about this one. Maybe it's all the side stories and the special interactions between these characters, but it's a Highschool 10 year party and I feel as though it's something we can all relate too in our on way. With each story to be told within this film.

I loved this movie cause of the gore, the action, the soundtrack, the story was okay but everything else I loved. I hope they do a sequel cause I'd love to see this world explored. Great film that will always keep you on your feet, laughing, and having a good time. I highly recommend this.

Freaks of Nature (2015)

Different and better take on most wanna be horror comedy's. Trust me you'll be entertained throughout the entire thing, some of it is funny, crazy, kinda cool, and cringe. But worth a watch and definitely recommend watching it with friends or family!

Captive State (2019)

A Must Watch Intelligent Thriller!

This film went above my expectations, going into it blind I thought it would be a good alien film. But it's not what you expect it's a film that you need to watch 2 times to understand but the concept is quite brilliant. The music, acting, effects are all very well done and keep the film intense. It's a film that keeps you thinking and never makes you look away. But I definitely recommend paying attention cause every little detail and scene has a meaning and a future purpose to unfold. I highly recommend this film it's a hidden classic!

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

No Madness..

Firstly I thought the movie was okay, it had some good cameos, beautiful visuals, and a pre good soundtrack. The only problem was this movie was missing a key thing that would've made it madness.

I understand the entire movie was based on introducing American Chavez, and Wanda trying to find her children and fix her life. The thing is she's running into the same problem as Supreme Strange. He wanted Christian Palmer back in his life after her death. He soon realized you can't alter what's meant to be. So even if Wanda could find a universe with her children, there would be a collapse of that reality, or terrible consequences. For a movie based on the entirety of the multiverse it was quite underated. Things like Dr Strange fighting Supreme Strange. Which is one of they strongest being in all of the marvel universe and he dies from music notes and being impaled by a fence. This Dr Strange variant sucked souls from every being in the universe, and he chose to fight with music notes. Even the Illuminati dying so fast, they killed all thanos all 7 of them and in our universe it took the entire universe to kill Thanos. Yet they can't defeat a version of Wanda. What they should've done was the Watcher gathered beings from different universes to defeat a unknown threat from taking over. Kinda like from What If. Wanda should've had a demons book which would be Mephisto book instead of the Dark Hold. Mephisto is one of they strongest beings ever. He would've opened a new possibility for Midnight Suns. Which could've opened up 3 new characters. Which would be Blade, Ghost Rider, and Werewolf By Night! Mephisto could've raged war on the multiverse after being awaken by Wanda in "WandaVision". Also in the comics Wanda took Mephistos soul and used it to create her children Billy, and Tommy!

In the Multiverse of Madness they only fully entered 3 universes. It should've had connected multiple universes that would tease to future projects. I wanted to be confused, just like I was in Doctor Strange! But instead I was seeking more madness! They could've teased projects/ characters like "Marvel Zombies, the "Noir Universe", "Secret Wars", and the "Sony Universe"! It was rushed and was missing Madness!

Never have I ever been so committed to a project, that's made me feel so many emotions. Markiplier made me who I am and to see all these Easter eggs and his jokes, his acting, his emotions. It really shows u how amazing Mark is! This project was amazing and can't wait for the future of Markiplier and what he has in store for us!

Scoob! (2020)

Nothing to do with SCOOBY DOO

The plot is basic with a villain on the loose that needs to be stopped. But there's nothing that makes it Scooby Doo. No plot twist, no unmasking the true villain, no secrets, and the entire time you just know what's coming and nothing surprises you. It does bring a call back to the original by having old villains, great sound affects and animation. But there lacking what makes Scooby Doo, Scooby Doo.

A New perspective of Life

This film blew me away, and shot me with the realization of what earth is. This film feels as though fake and un realistic to some. But think of all the fake news we have, all the killing of our planet. The film gave us hope to make every second count, to cherish ur loved ones, and to not let the world change your perspective. It did bring a comedic effect which made it feels lesser value and lose the meaning. But still made it worth it in the end. A well deserved film that you should watch.

Blown AWAY

This show went far above my expirations, with the animation, music, character design, and story. They show makes every character matter and feel important when something goes wrong, you feel for that character and there not just a side person. The story was outstanding and the animation is unique, smooth, jittery, and colourful. It has to be my most favourite show of the year is on my Top 10 best show list. It's a show that all viewers can enjoy and will truly refresh your life with a new taste!

A NEW GREAT GAME!

The reason why many people are giving this game such bad reviews is cause the first one was so good they thought Naughty Dogs (Game Company) would make a bigger, better game. Which it wasn't as good as the first one but that doesn't mean it was bad, a lot of the quality's and things I wanted in the first game they put in the 2nd game. I had a lot of moment where I was on the edge of my seat, I had moment where I cried, and laughed. So yes it didn't hold up to everyone's expectations but it was an amazing game that I will never forget. I recommend this to people searching for adventure, film like games, and an emotional ride your not ready for!

I've seen so many so sad films, and so many movies and this by far is my favourite. If you ever get a chance to watch it, do it. Trust me...

So there's something everyone needs to know before watching this movie. The director of Spy Kids, Shark Boy and Lava Girl, he has a style! Whether this still is good or not, we grew up with this kinda stuff! Yes it's meant for kids and it got bad reviews cuz the movies he use to make were amazing yes they were cheesy but in an amazing way. Now if u like Spy Kids, Shark Boy and Lava Girl, well this is the movie for u. The social effect are not the best, but still a great film to watch if u love the directors work!

This show surprised me on so many levels the amount of detail and work they put into this is amazing! You can really see so many people out there heart and soul into this show! This is the #1 unique show ever! You will never, ever find a show like this! It can be funny, scary, adventurous, and so much more! I very much recommend this show to everyone!

This is a very thrilling and spooky movie that keeps you on the edge of ur seat! As the end of it could've been better, most of the film had its ways or being very scary and spooky! I have been camping before and this film makes me never wanna go again! If you love jump scares, being alone, and strange things, well this is the movie for you!
