Is this entertaining? sort of.
Is it scary? no.
The problem I'm having with a number of modern horror films is firstly CGI is not scary, its never scary because it doesn't look realistic. With horror practical effects should always be the go to option.
I thought this was a lame effort, as always the critics on rotten tomatoes say this is fresh, well I say lame. It's funny when it's supposed to be horror, the acting in some scenes is questionable and I was drinking more and more alcohol to get myself through the boredom of this until eventually I had to switch it off half way through.
Horror needs to go back to it's roots before horror becomes nothing more than a six letter word
