RuPaul's Drag Race: RDR Live! (2024)
Where Do I Start...
Geneva & Xunami sharing their experiences as DACA children, Amanda being a ghost writer for Only Fans, Mhi'Ya Iman struggling to break out of her shell, Dawn casting Plasma aside, just for the later to succeed with her Barbara Streisand cognizance, Plane Jane & her demure, yet hilarious acting on the RDR sketch, Q wearing the most exquisite Mackie dress in the show's herstory, and Sapphira, who may or may have not sabotaged Mirage, who broke down like we've never seen before with her elimination.. This Episode had it all.. Almost all queens had their moment to shine on screen, great editing, great script, decent, safe runway.. This is a show that knows where it stands in pop culture, knows its references and its format, and is not afraid to exploit them.. Overall, a great show of form.
Drag Race Philippines: Untucked!: Untucked: Grand Opening Part 2 (2023)
The Drama!
Omg what did they put in these girls' drinks?
This Ep of Untucked proves to be more entertaining than the actual competitive episode
The shade, the drama, the backstage banter in your local club, it's all there
OV is giving Silky Ganache's vibes with her attitude, remains to be seen if it's all real, an act, or if she was just drunk
Dee Dee playing many sides is just your normal Queen testing ppl around her, Bernie being so mute while saying so much with her reactions, gives u life, and I really don't understand all the incoming that Levels from HK is taking, maybe (or maybe not) she is the two faced queen the others accuse her of
Overall, a very entertaining Ep.
RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under: Mardi Gras Pride (2023)
Loving it down under
After the flop S1 was, Miss Jackson and her troupe raised the bar high on S2, so I was looking fwd to this new season, and Ep 1 has DELIVERED, I felt like got to meet all the queens, each got a little bit of their own story to tell, and some drama already brewing between the new queens and the seasoned ones, looks were cute and the editors made the Ep flow and interesting.
There is diversity, different personalities and wit, and two to watch are Hollywould Star & Gabriella Labucci, IMO, while Rhys Nicholson may very well be one of the funniest judges the franchise has anywhere.
Looking fwd what the rest of the season has to show.
Hillary (2020)
Haters Stop!!
Not even 2016 DeSouza's Hillary's America piece of garbage has a lower rating than this doc. Yes, this one omits some downs like the 'deplorables' mention or how dared her show emotion before the NH primary in '08, but overall the reason Hillary is portrayed so favorably is simply because she is a remarkable figure with great achievements in American history and politics. This documentary is well edited, first showing the beginning and end (timeline wise) to finally meet at the middle, it also offers great behind the scenes moments from her campaign that give a good insight of what will be remembered as the most vicious presidential campaign in American History, and not thanks to her. I am personally grateful with Mrs Burstein work and her effective effort to offer a better look of what Mrs Clinton is, with 'receipts', footage that show the undeniable facts, who she has consistently been throughout her life and, for better or for worse, who remains the sole person in American History who has gotten more support from voters in a general presidential election
