Excellent Remake of an old classic
10 September 2006
Well, when I first rented this movie I thought it would be a slow-paced raw and gory film, But as soon as the violence started to show up I suddenly changed my mind, (But it was gory) The movie is totally awesome, especially for being a remake of an film from the 70-80:ies. I recommend it for people who doesn't get disturbed or find violence disgusting. The story itself reminded me a lot of the well-known movies named The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a pretty new movie named Wrong Turn, but as we all know, T.T.C.M. and the original movie The Hills Have Eyes were made and released years ago. Well, I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen the movie yet, I just wan't to say WATCH IT!!!

Wonderful

Well I hadn't really heard about DB before I started to watch the episodes. I totally fell for it, its absolutely adorable, all the characters, the humor, everything, is perfect. But I only have one question, why is Gokus voice made by an girl? Well it doesn't really matter, 'cause she sound like a boy. Well at least the info on the site on IMDb says that it is a girl, but like I said, it doesn't matter, she does her work totally perfect, now I read all the books, watch all the episodes, I can't have enough of it! To everyone who haven't seen it,buy it, download it, watch it on TV, however you do, just make sure you watch it all!

One of Sweden's coolest movies in years
19 July 2006
When I first saw the trailer for this movie I really got caught. For being a Swedish production it really is ambitious, especially the special-effects and other stuff that rarely been included in a Swedish movie before. The movie focuses on the young man D.D (Eric Ericsson),he's a man that think that he can manage to survive all alone, who lives in the Swedish capital Stockholm. His life is really enjoyable until the mysterious woman Lova runs into him and turn his whole world upside down, she's chased by some dark and evil men who wants to kill her. I saw the movie on a Swedish cinema, I loved it, for being a Swedish film it really rocks, I've never seen anything like it. Måns Mårlind, who created the Swedish series "De Drabbade" wrote the story of the film, he's an awesome story-writer. I recommend this movie to everyone who liked the movie "The Matrix", the whole atmosphere feels like the one in matrix, but that's my own opinion.

De drabbade (2003)
Dark...
18 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This series is really one of the best that Swedish television ever created. It's dark, depressing, violent, It's dialog is excellent. From the first program I was stuck, I mean really stuck. From the moment that Henrik did that gruesome thing, when he killed his family and shot himself in the end of the first program i really asked myself : is this really made by people who speak the same language as me, are from the same country? The rest of the series is awesome, the story is really great, it really touched me in a way a Swedish production never have done before. I really recommend this production, if you haven't seen it, go watch it, immediately!!!

Desperation (2006 TV Movie)

Pretty good movie
18 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Well, for being a film based upon one of King's books, Desperation is pretty good, because most of the film's based upon his works sucks. But I really agree with one of the persons who wrote a comment on this film before me that it is a little bit too preachy, the actors are good, especially the main character David, his real name is Shane Haboucha, are doing a great work. One more thing, even though the movie's playtime lies around 2 hours, the story itself feels a little bit hastened, but if you haven't read the book, I don't think that you'll notice that. One thing is that the movie itself isn't very frightening, it's more like a drama, with some intense scenes, but I wouldn't really put it in the category "horror", more like I said "Drama". One other thing, this is a "spoiler", that pretty much was a letdown, was that by some reason the man who wrote the story to the film, i think that it is King himself, chose to completely delete some parts of the real story when he was writing the film-story, as for example the part when a woman was strangling David, and the scene where his dead sister gives him a glowing soap, and i didn't really understand why King added some parts to the script, like the one with the sister and the soap That makes the movie a little difficult to understand, 'cause the story appears like a little messy sometimes, sometimes it seems like the movie doesn't really have a plot in it, it makes it hard to get a grip on the story, But besides from that the music is good and I enjoyed the movie!
