Gavin & Stacey: Episode #2.7 (2008)
How Do They Do It!?
I've just sat and watched Gavin and Stacey from Series One Episode One to this Episode and I can truly say it's been a day well spent, I've laughed, I've Cried, I've shouted at the TV getting so involved in every single story line that it's almost driven my neighbours crazy!
Such a beautiful episode that really leaves you craving for the next, from the incident in Gavin's home where she nearly takes off her wedding ring to the moment's of rushing Smithy to the Hospital (By the way, the goings on at the Toll booth on the Severn Bridge were truly genius). I literally screamed for Smithy to Kiss Nessa as she held their child, and then I heard Dave's voice...GUTTED! However to see Gav and Stacey at the end...really put the Icing on the cake, Ruth Jones and James Corden have perfected real, likable TV.
Gavin & Stacey: Episode #2.2 (2008)
I loved this episode
Being a Welsh person from an all Welsh family this episode really spoke to me, it really showed how close a lot of Welsh families are, I couldn't cope with leaving my family and the goodbye at the end felt so strong and so real. I've been away from home and away from my family countless times and every time I have felt the calling back home, the amount of times i've needed to call home just to hear a familiar voice, find out what i've missed and to find out that i've been missed. It really shows how tightly knit the communities in small towns and villages of Wales really are. An Epic Episode of an Epic programme.
