Cold Case: Shattered (2010) Season 7, Episode 22

A Great Series Finale To A Great Series.

Cold Case is my favourite show of all time.

The way they ended it was perfect. All the character storyline's were tied up nicely. All the characters got their justified ending. Very justified indeed.

Despite what most people commenting on here think, the ending was justified and warranted. Not one single storyline was left open or left you wondering what became of their character.

It's not a common practice in television when a show ends to tie up all characters storyline's. Yet Cold Case did an exceptional job at this task.

It's a shame the show didn't go longer, but it is what is.

The Batman (2022)

Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!

No words will do it JUSTICE on how good this movie is. It was The Batman we NEEDED and WANTED.

Everyone was cast perfectly and they all played their part accordingly. No one needed carrying and they all held their own.

The 3 hour run time is absolutely necessary. It showed everything becoming of a Superhero starting out and the realism was absolutely superb and refreshing.

I will definitely be seeing this again before it leaves the cinema, possibly even a 3rd time. Yes, it's just that good.

Before I saw this movie, I had no idea who Matt Reeves was, but, from here on out I will never forget his name. Nor will anyone else because of the great job he did as a writer and director of The Batman.

This movie DESERVES to be a trilogy. Hopefully Part 2 and Part 3 are already in the works.

Do yourself a favour, go and watch The Batman. It will DEFINITELY be the best decision you will make this year.

Tales from the Darkside (1983–1988)

Utter GARBAGE!

Who wrote this abomination. Out of 90 episodes, there would be lucky to be 6 episodes that were decent and that's being VERY generous.

Do not do what I did and thought it was going to be good, because you thought it would be another take of The Twilight Zone. IT WAS NOT.

Avoid this MONSTROSITY at all costs.

Words can not begin to explain how ridiculous this show is.

The Nun (2018)

Don't Listen To The Bad Reviews.

If there was a way to give this movie more than 10 stars then I would.

This movie is a true horror fest. It has everything you could want from a horror movie.

The people writing the bad reviews would have jumped in it numerous times and are only writing a bad review so they can hang in to what dignity they have left. There is no shame in being scared from a horror movie, especially something that has James Wan attached to it.

Anyway, back to the task at hand. Watch it, enjoy it and I guarantee you will jump and be frightened from it.

Definitely worth the watch and all the other movies in The Conjuring Universe.

Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)

Utterly Pathetic.

It was pathetic in every single way.

They should have stopped after 3. Yet, here we are.

Don't waste your time. It truly is really pathetic.

Antlers (2021)

Firstly, if I could give it a rating of less than 1 star, I would.

Secondly, Keri Russell's acting is atrocious. Always has been and always will be. There was never once in this movie or any other where she is remotely convincing.

Thirdly, nothing and I mean NOTHING in this movie made any sense. It was contradictory all the way through.

In closing, avoid, avoid, AVOID IT at all cost. If you watch it, you will regret it, just like I did.

You will thank me for it.

A complete ABOMINATION. It's not even worth the time to press play. Avoid it like the plague. It has no bearing to the original 2 films. It was just made for the hell of it. I have no idea what possessed John Carpenter to green light this film.

Three words of wisdom:

Avoid.. Avoid... AVOID!!!

Mary Poppins Returns (2018)

100% Better Than The First Mary Poppins.

Emily Blunt was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL in this movie.

Regardless of whether you liked, loved or hated the first Mary Poppins, you will absolutely LOVE this one.

It was great in every way. Do I dare say that Emily Blunt was a better Mary Poppins than Julie Andrews? Yes, yes I do. She most certainly was.

It was a great heartfelt movie, that hooks you from the beginning.

You should 100% watch this movie. You will not be disappointed.

Malignant (I) (2021)

Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!

James Wan absolutely outdoes himself with every movie he makes. This is certainly NO exception. This guy is a MASTER OF HORROR for a reason.

Although the beginning does kind of feel like it drags out a little, for at least the first 30 mins or so, but the rest of the movie more than makes up for it.

The entirety of the film you are always trying to figure out what is going on. It's what makes the movie thoroughly enjoyable.

There will be NO spoilers in this post as James Wan has asked people to not give anything away and I will not be giving anything away.

You DEFINITELY should go see it. You will not be disappointed.

I will eagerly wait for MALIGNANT 2.

Monster Hunter (2020)

Better Than I Expected.

It was a really good movie. It doesn't require a lot of thinking and it has plenty of action to keep you entertained for an odd 90 mins.

I gave it an 8, only because the monsters could have looked better and more ferocious. Other than that it was really well done.

I'm really hoping that it will be continued for at least 2 more sequels. It NEEDS to be a new franchise for Milla as the Resident Evil franchise has been completed.

Bring on Monster Hunter 2.

Kate (I) (2021)

100% Non Stop EXCITEMENT.

Firstly, a movie of this caliber has NEVER been done before. It was a breath of fresh air to see something different, enticing and just down right awesome to watch.

Secondly, it has a great cast. It shows that Mary Elizabeth Winstead can carry a movie. Woody Harrelson still has it and MOST definitely, we do not forget about Miku Martineau who was ABSOLUTELY brilliant as the foul mouth teenager, personally I think she stole the movie.

Thirdly, it has you glued to the screen and as things move forward, you are still left in awe about what previously happened. There isn't a dull moment in the entire movie.

In closing, I have seen plenty of action films, but nothing on this level. This is the type of movie that will undoubtedly set the blueprint for the standard of future action films.

U Turn (I) (2020)

Very Impresed.

This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entirety of it. It has you paying attention to a bunch of different things at once. Which is what you want from a movie of this caliber.

It has a GREAT script, GREAT directing and of course the actors were AMAZING. There was not one bad actor in the entire movie.

If you want a movie that will get you involved and keep you guessing to the very end, as well as giving you a quality scare factor with AMAZING special effects. Then look no further. You will thoroughly enjoy this GREAT movie.

Do yourself a favour and watch this movie, you won't be disappointed.

I am a very hard person to impress and I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED.

The Borrowers (1997)

Mediocre at best.

If you're bored, then watch it. If not, then find something else to watch. It drags out and there is a lot of unnecessary parts in this movie.

It only gets interesting in the last 10-15 minutes. Not worth the time to sit down to watch it.

The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008)

Wow.. Just WOW.

It is a feel good movie that makes you enjoy every moment that passes. Every minute is just another intriguing moment that draws you in and you want more.

If you are looking for a movie to watch that will make you enjoy yourself for 90 mins, do not hesitate to watch this BRILLIANT movie.

Anything I say will not do it justice. Do yourself a favour and watch this movie. You will not regret it.

Chicago (2002)

Don't Waste Your Time.

It drags out. It jumps all over the place. They depend so much on the music and singing, that the acting takes a backseat.

It's a whole bunch of nothing.

I gave it 2 stars only because Lucy Liu was in it for roughly 2 minutes.

The Greatest Showman (2017)

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

I went into this movie not expecting much, but to just watch a Hugh Jackman movie. What I got was way, WAY MORE.

Everything about this movie is great. It's entertaining, enjoyable, heartwarming and it pulls at your heartstrings more than 4 times during the entire movie.

Every character is enjoyable to watch and you can not get enough of who they are as a person.

It's one of those movie's that you just never want it to end and it drags you in from the first minute. The more the movie gives, the more you want.

I highly recommend this movie. If I could give it a higher rating than 10/10, I would not hesitate in doing so.

Do yourself a favour and watch this movie. It is undoubtedly.... Absolutely... AMAZING!!!

Canadian Bacon (1995)

John Candy's Worst Film.

The film started off interesting and 30 mins in, it just all fell apart. The jokes weren't funny, the acting became sloppy and the plot ended up being completely ridiculous.

The only good thing is the cameo appearances which is why I gave it 1 star.

Avoid this movie completely. If you choose to watch it, you will not get your 90 minutes back.

This is not just the worst John Candy film I have seen, but, the worst film I have ever seen.

Sextuplets (2019)

A Pure Classic.

I saw the trailer for this film and automatically knew I had to watch it and that I did.

This is one of those movies where you don't know how it will play out, let me tell you, this movie did not disappoint.

It was a little slow for the first 10 mins or so and once Russell is introduced, it just picked up from there.

All the negative comments about this movie are ridiculous and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Yes! This is a comedy and like all comedies, it's not meant to be taken too seriously. It's light humour to pick you up and make you laugh and it does just that.

This is a completely fresh take on what Marlon Wayans has done in the past. It's nothing like Scary Movie or White Chicks or Don't Be A Menace... It's new material and nothing has been reused from any of his previous films.

People.. Don't take my word for it.. Watch it and draw your own conclusion.. You will NOT be disappointed.

Hangman (II) (2017)

A Great Film

This has everything you would expect from a serial killer film.

Al Pacino was AWESOME as always. Everything he touches turns to gold and this is no exception.

It keeps you intrigued until the very last second, just like any movie of this genre should.

It has a great supporting cast. Everyone played their part perfectly.

The only thing missing is that Al Pacino doesn't do his usual yelling in a scene, that we have all grown accustom to.

There are things that could've been improved on, like any movie. They differ from viewer to viewer, so I will let you be the judge of that. Overall do not miss.

It's worth the watch.

Men in Black: International (2019)

This Movie Is Exactly Where It Needs To Be...

This movie can be seen as Men In Black 4. Even though Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones do not reprise their roles in this fourth instalment of the franchise, it clearly continues the story of what the MIB Organisation is as a whole.

The plot and the special effects both compliment each other. The acting is great and not over the top. The comedy is just enough to make you laugh as well as keeping the viewer interested and wanting more.

Do NOT listen to the negative reviews as they quite clearly expect more than what it is.

Take this movie for what it is and what it is... Is a family friendly movie with action and comedy in all the right places. It's a movie for the whole family to enjoy.

Don't take my word for it, watch it and enjoy it for yourself.
