complete Cr@p!

I've never seen a less interesting, less involving and downright waste of the £3.50 rental fee. Even my girlfriend who can usually make out plots and stay interested during even the worst films couldn't figure this one out! Bad acting, bad french accents which sounded more like eastern European, uninteresting plot where only a few of this films' negative features. A strange combination of the usual US actors and British ones as well as some other undefined countries confused the plot as there was seemingly no reason for this. The only interesting element to the films was the filming location and the beautiful building the plays the orphanage in the film.

Superb!, intense and gripping storyline..

Along similar lines of "Wrong turn" where a bunch of young dudes in cars end up getting lost and stuck in a surreal world where life has stopped. The idea of a whole town being "kept alive" or dead as the case may be, by two twisted brothers is fascinating. The story centres around a town called Ambrose that has been abandoned ten years ago because of an interstate being built that has bypassed the place. The brothers have being capturing motorists from the surrounding area for years, killing them and covering them with wax, to strategically place around the town like macabre dummies. The couple who enter the town soon find this out as they notice things are wrong... The film is very well planned and constructed apart from the bit earlier on where Paris Hilton and her boyfriend (who are part of the original group) go camping and have numerous sex sessions. This element of the film is weak and contributes nothing to the storyline, only it seems to add to the films list of famous names and add a element of sex.. doesn't work at all in my opinion.. Aprt from this the rest of the film is superb, well worth watching!!

Quite an amateur attempt at a movie.

I found this movie good in concept but the story line is badly planned and the acting poor, the film "dances" around from one scene and subject to another not really linking one thing to another. A cop who travels around the world to solve crimes... I don't think so...

The movie starts promisingly, and the plot seems sort of well established, but the whole international theme soon becomes confusing, irrelevant and unbelievable.

The American scenes look as though they've been filmed in oz despite the addition of left hand drive cars with yank plates on!

Overall, a disappointing attempt at a movie that could have been so much better than it is..
