Tall Girl (2019)
First World Problem
There is a similar movie in Japan about a tall girl called Lovely Complex and being tall in Asia for a girl is head-turning, so the story is pretty relistic.
I don't think this is realistic in western countries, though.
A Dog's Journey (2019)
It could have ben sooo much better
I don't mind cliché and predictable. But I can't stand the acting. It started great, but it got boring afterwards.
To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018)
A typical shoujo-anime story with a strong heroine
I feel like I was watching Asian drama with western touch. But I like that the heroine is not a "I'm not like other girls" kinda girl. It's nice to see a heroine who already feel safe about who she is and what she likes and not trying to be popular or whatever.
Otherhood (2019)
So what if it's cliché and predictable?
It's a nice movie to look into the annoying mother trope that we usually see in movies. That they're not 2-dimensional character, that they have their own problems and life and care deeply for their sons.
Yeah, I don't like the forgive-the-cheater thing. But it's something to agree to disagree.
