Testament: The Story of Moses (2024)
Visual representation did not disappoint!!
Wow!!! Let me first say I have not read exodus yet. I am just starting my journey through the Bible from the beginning. I AM a Christian. I cannot compare this film fairly yet. However, after watching this series I have fallen in love with the story of Moses!!!! I'm so excited to delve into my Bible and read exodus; and compare. I love that I will have a better visual representation once I start reading! I give this 10/10! Highly recommend to anybody with an open mind and those who are able to understand Hollywoods dramatic themes from the truth of what's written in the Bible. Highly recommend to atheists, agnostics, born again Christians or anyone who understands better with visual representation.
Utopia (2020)
Im glad I waited to write this review
I'm a huge fan of the original series. I watched the comic con of the cast before the remake was aired, Flynn said she watched the original series once and didn't look back. With that statement in the back of my head, my mind was made up that it would fail. I watched the first episode and before I could finish, I started writing a review on how completely disappointing it was. But to my surprise, after finishing the remake, I have to say it's not all that bad. In fact, I love it. It's not the original though, I will make that clear. The remake has toned down the cinematography, music & deliverance. Flynn took the original and made it her own. She shifted scenes around, added more, took away but didn't hold back after it's all said and done. This is every conspiracy theorist dream series shown on screen.
